After the break, we will continue with our tour and will go straight to the castle of Berat. There we will visit the castle from inside and we wilm have lunch there.
After that we will go down to the city center and we will visit the bridges of the city and Osumi River which separates the neighbourhoods of the city, Mangalemi and Gorica.
After we are finished with visiting and pictures we will stop for another coffee break and then we will head back to Tirana.

Another 18th/19th Ottoman structure, Skenduli house, has been preserved ever since it was taken from the wealthy Skenduli family at the start of communism in Albania. WHAT TO EXPECT1: The Blue EyeThe Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër) is a water spring and natural phenomenon occurring near Muzinë in Vlorë County, southern Albania. A popular tourist attraction, the clear blue water of the river bubbles forth from a depth of more than fifty metres. Divers have descended to fifty metres, but it is still unclear what the actual depth of the karst hole is. Blue Eye is one of the most beautiful sights in Southern Albania and an easy day trip from Saranda. Conveniently, the Blue Eye in Albania is also right on the way to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gjirokastra (also written Gjirokastër), Berats twin city.
Its quite easy to see both the Blue Eye and Gjirokastra together in a day trip if you are based in Saranda or Ksamil. If you have more time, you can visit them separately as well.

The Monastery is located 2 km. east of Delvinë, in Voskopoje, Albania.
Just beyond the monastery, down a dry river bed, there is a fresh water source and also a great shaded area to enjoy a picnic, a fire, or rest from the hike. As there will be spare time planned to enjoy a break.

2-2,5 hours paddling and swimming into the lake and lagoon of Butrint. In antiquity, the amphitheatre was known as Buthrotum, the center of the Greek tribe of Chaonians. By the 4th century BC, Butrint became an important city and had its own amphitheater and temples. Within the next two centuries, it was annexed by the Roman Empire. We will stop in at Ali Pasha which lies some 2.4 kilometres (1.5 mi) due west at the mouth of the Vivari Channel. After the kayaking we will taste e delicious local lunch (fish food based but also meet upon request).
For the present activity you should love the outdoors, own good health condition and have consulted the doctor during the year.
