WHAT TO EXPECT1: The Blue EyeThe Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër) is a water spring and natural phenomenon occurring near Muzinë in Vlorë County, southern Albania. A popular tourist attraction, the clear blue water of the river bubbles forth from a depth of more than fifty metres. Divers have descended to fifty metres, but it is still unclear what the actual depth of the karst hole is. Blue Eye is one of the most beautiful sights in Southern Albania and an easy day trip from Saranda. Conveniently, the Blue Eye in Albania is also right on the way to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gjirokastra (also written Gjirokastër), Berats twin city.
Its quite easy to see both the Blue Eye and Gjirokastra together in a day trip if you are based in Saranda or Ksamil. The castle is on a strategic hill point overlooking the town of Saranda, southeast of the town centre. From here one can control the whole town as well as the islands of Ksamil.

The Monastery is located 2 km. east of Delvinë, in Voskopoje, Albania.

2-2,5 hours paddling and swimming into the lake and lagoon of Butrint. In antiquity, the amphitheatre was known as Buthrotum, the center of the Greek tribe of Chaonians. By the 4th century BC, Butrint became an important city and had its own amphitheater and temples. Within the next two centuries, it was annexed by the Roman Empire. We will stop in at Ali Pasha which lies some 2.4 kilometres (1.5 mi) due west at the mouth of the Vivari Channel. After the kayaking we will taste e delicious local lunch (fish food based but also meet upon request).
For the present activity you should love the outdoors, own good health condition and have consulted the doctor during the year.
