In summer it is highly recommended to explore the lake (Hallstaettersee), which is situated directly in front of Haus Cian. Go on a guided lake cruise or just hire an electric- or pedal boat. You can also go for a swim in the lake. With water temperatures of up to 22 degrees celsius it is definitely an experience. Hallstatt also offers cultural events (music, theater and art), especially in the summer months. During your stay at Haus Cian I am happy to help you out with updated information on current events. Winter is a very calm and quiet time in Hallstatt. Tourists are always very welcome to enjoy this special time with the locals.
