The city center has many beautiful old buildings, including its major landmark, the tower of the Grote or Onze Lieve Vrouwe Kerk (the Church of Our Lady), which dominates the town's skyline. The Dutch Royal Military Academy, Koninklijke Militaire Academie, is also located here. Breda has an impressive historic heritage with monuments, references and memorials as well as a vibrant nightlife with many restaurants, bars and pubs.
