WHAT TO EXPECT

Let us take you through history while being immersed in nature and the sea!

We will be exploring little islands in front of Lumbarda and Korula while being active in kayak.

Our stops include small islands like Gubavac, Vrnik, and Badija.
On Gubavac we will relax, drink coffee or tea, and try homemade produce like Klaun cake and Grk wine. And on Vrnik we will explore stone quarries which are a testimony to the continuity and tradition of quarrying until this very day. One of our stops will also be an old Franciscan monastery on the island of Badija which had a turbulent past but managed to keep its beauty.

We will stop on small remote beaches to relax and swim in the sea depending on the group's wishes.

Bol is located on the southern side of the Island! It lays beneath Vidova Gora (Vid Mountain) which is the highest peak on Brac island!

The Bol area stretches for kilometers along the spectacular coastline and features many beautiful beaches. The most famous one being Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). This beach is a unique natural phenomenon. Its peninsula extends nearly half a kilometer into the clear blue sea like a small tongue. It expands with the depositing small gravelly pebbles around the underwater reef. The tip of the beach is constantly changing its shape in its attempt to accommodate crushing waves of the Adriatic Sea.

Important note about the cycling. Bikes are mountain bikes. We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and experience of riding a bike. You will cycle around 10kms and this includes several hills. The route may include some unlevel surfaces and off road terrain. Keep in mind as well it gets very hot on Korcula, especially from late June until the end of August and you will be cycling in the sun. We would class the ride as moderate but the hills and heat can be more of a challenge for some people. Although the ride is leisurely, we just want to ensure you will be comfortable to complete the ride.

Lastovo is a small speck of emerald green situated amidst the vast open seas of the shimmering Adriatic. As one of Croatias most isolated islands, Lastovo is the perfect escape for those seeking to immerse themselves in nature and discover a landscape virtually untouched, witnessed by only a lucky few.

The Lastovo archipelago was declared a protected Nature Park by the Croatian government in 2006 and is featured on the prestigious listings of the World Wildlife Fund. It is renowned as a place where Lord Byron drew inspiration, and to this day has managed to escape all the major trappings of civilisation. With its laidback and traditional way of life, this is a place to truly escape it all.

Whilst many come to Lastovo simply to relax and bask in the serenity, the island boasts a wealth of exciting attractions. Its clear seas make it ideally suited for diving and snorkelling. There are numerous adventurous hiking trails which wind through the wild interior and along the craggy coastline.

The island is also blessed with an incredibly diverse range of flora and flora, much of it endemic or endangered. In fact, Lastovo is considered one of the richest and best preserved botanical areas in the entire Mediterranean region. Finally, the islands town is a rewarding place to while away the hours, replete with picturesque stones houses, ancient churches and friendly family-run restaurants.

This evening kayaking Tour is starting from Tatinja Bay in Lumbarda. After meeting your guide and completing a 20-minute safety briefing and training session in the sea you will begin with the tour.

You will visit the island Vrnik famous for its quarrying history, and island Badija which is home to a beautiful monastery from the 14th century complete with beautiful wild deer roaming around.

After that, you will paddle to the most beautiful sunset spot in the area to enjoy the calming red sun dropping into the sea. Whilst enjoying the sunset you will be able to enjoy some amazing homemade white wine called GRK that can only be found in the Lumbarda region, whilst snacking on homemade canape sandwiches complete with cheese and salted anchovies and also finish it all up with homemade KLAUN pastries!

Important note about the cycling. Bikes are mountain bikes. We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and experience of riding a bike. You will cycle around 10kms and this includes some road cycling, several hills and some off-road terrain. Keep in mind as well it gets very hot on Korcula, especially from late June until the end of August and you will be cycling in the sun. We would class the ride as moderate but the hills and heat can be more of a challenge for some people. Although the ride is leisurely, we just want to ensure you will be comfortable to complete the ride.

Itinerary:

Stiniva cove. This is one of the most famous bays on Vis island. Geologists believe it was created as a result of collapsed cave ceiling long ago and today it is a popular tourist attraction.

Bievo Island & Blue cave This gorgeous destination leaves everyone breathless. On the Blue cave tour, you will see the interior of the cave and the sea within are illuminated with an indescribable silver-blue light. This is often labeled by tourists as one of the most magical spots in Croatia.

The Green Cave. This astonishing cave is known for the beautiful beam of light that penetrates through an opening above and breaks on the sea surface.
