There are two entrances to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Entrance 1, Rastovaa (44.905280,15.611835 / 44°5419.0N 15°3642.6E) and Entrance 2, Hladovina (44.881796,15.622529 / 44°5254.5N 15°3721.1E). They are both situated on the same road fairly close to each other and to the lakes. You will need to present this ticket to the corresponding entrance that you have booked to receive your official entry ticket.

You should arrive no later than 55 minutes after the start time that you have booked your entrance. This means that if you have booked the entrance at 10.00am you should exchange your voucher and enter to the park no later than 10.55h.

If you are travelling by car, please keep in mind that parking is not free in the park. Car parks around the National Park all charge for stay. There are however some free smaller car parks in more remote areas but you would then need to walk quite far to access the Park.

From 1st of November till 1st of April, weather conditions in the national park are prone to change rapidly, and therefore, individual trails may be temporarily closed, or vehicles prohibited. All daily information will be noted on the entrance to the park.

Dogs are allowed in the Park on the lead only. They are also allowed on the shuttle bus and ferry boat shuttle within the Park.

Student discounts are not applicable with this purchase

Plitvice are open all year round no matter of weather conditions; part of paths and lakes can be closed (usually in winter). You can find all the latest information on the Plitvice website or at the entrance.

Ogulin (Pass by)

Below the mountain of Klek, and above the chasm of the River Dobra, in the year 1500 Bernardin Frankopan built a fortress and this strategic move proved to be excellent because the place fulfilled its military defensive function and over the constant course of time it became a little baroque town the homeland of fairy tales. Walking through the town take a look around you and you will notice that you are in a spacious valley surrounded by hills which is dominated by the mountain of Klek on the west side. The starting point and landmark for exploring the place is the most recognizable symbol of the town the Frankopan tower.

From the heart of the old town, head off again and in just a few steps we are at ulas Abyss, we take a look at the cliff on which this place was built! The River Dobra is squeezed into the emerald karst and lost under the ground. Enjoy the view, listen to the fairy tale Reygoch performed in the place from where the writer took her inspiration for that tale.

1: Klek Mountain

If there is anything simple, then it is to be active in Ogulin!
The town that is located in a spacious valley, in the heart of continental Croatia, is best known to nature lovers for Klek mountain. This is understandable because the idea for the first
national mountaineering association emerged on Klek in 1874.
From whichever side you approach its 1,181-metre-high peak it is reminiscent of a sleeping giant. This is why there are famous legends about Kleks witches and Slavic gods.

In the very centre of the town, there is a hydrogeological phenomenon of nature. Down the canyon through the very centre of the town, the River Dobra ends its aboveground course as it sinks under the rocky and steep cliffs in a huge opening. ula abyss continues through the Medvedica cave into the longest speleological structure in Croatia. 16,396 metres of this system have been researched so far. The name of the abyss is linked to the legend of a lovesick girl named ula or Zulejka who jumped into the abyss. Nature has played along with and complemented the legend of ula.
