We can offer travellers a free lift from a prearranged meeting place in Agia Napa, or Protaras. It should be noted that the transfer is not a paid service and that our company car has private usual insurance (ie, no taxi or similar transportation is provided).
To be agreed between the guide and the travellers (usually but not necessarily the same as the pickup location). We do not pick up travellers from ports or airports. Guiding time starts when the guide meets with the travellers.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Ayia Napa

Agia Napa Sea Caves complex is the main focus and the most western point on our itinerary. The complex comprises a collection of sea caves and rock formations, on the east side of the Agia Napa fishing port, just east of the two beaches of Pantahou and Glyky Nero. Some are almost too narrow for even a single person to enter, others are wider, some have a form of a tunnel or of a natural arch (the famous Lovers' Bridge).

It must be noted that this service is not offered when access to the Agia Napa Sea Caves is prohibited (in the recent past, from the beginning of November until the end of April). Access to the caves during the cold season is forbidden as it is thought that Mediterranean monk seals and their puppies may be using them. We should not disturb them. We visit the caves during the rest of the year, provided the sea is not very choppy.

We have alternative 3-hour and 4-hour routes that operate year long (Cape Greko Sea caves/east coast of Cape Greko).

Please keep in mind that while we do provide things like a dry bag, travellers should be clear that they would probably get wet and they should not bring along things that would be damaged by salt water.

The kayaks are light, only 18 kilograms each and can go relatively fast, depending also on the weight on them. There is some storage place on them. At the same time, people should keep in mind that increasing the weight on the sea kayaking, increases the work they would need to do to move the kayak forward.

We check weather forecast early in the morning. If it is not good, and better on the east coast, we instead kayak around Green Bay and Fig Tree Bay, if customers agree and the weather forecast there is better.

Kayakers should be able to swim. Yes, the kayaks of course float and all kayakers were Personal Flotation Devices. Still we expect everyone to be able to swim.

Our kayaks are rated for a load of 125 kg. Kayakers should only book if the load on each kayak will be no more than 100 kg.

OVERVIEW

The south Cape Greko coastline is characterised by crystal clear waters and light blue water colours, excellent for snorkelling & kayaking possibilities.

Near Agia Napa there are sea caves with beautiful colours that we would enter, as well as Lovers' Bridge natural arch. The route and a bit over 1 km in length. We snorkel here only between May and October.

The south area of Cape Greko and particularly the Cape Greko Sea Caves cove is one of the most beautiful attractions in the wider area. The trip provides travellers with the opportunity to explore the cove from the sea in a sustainable, eco-friendly way.

In our snorkeling trips we use buoy(s) so that passing boats know our presense.

We can finetune the route on the day, depending on the weather and the travellers' profile and preferences.

If the customers agree, in case of forecasted choppy sea, instead we snorkel (only) around East Cape Greko (if the weather is expected to be bad everywhere, we cancel the trip).

The service doesnot include transportation. At the same time, we can offer travellers free rides in our company car (that holds normal insurance - we do not offer a taxi service). We can offer free rides from Larnaca, Oroklini/Pyla bay, Agia Napa and Protaras (not from ports or airports). Guiding time starts when the travellers meet the guide.

Exploration of the Agia Napa Sea Caves complex.

All along we have snorkelling buoy(s) so boats are alerted of our presence.

We enter usually two sea caves and we also snorkel under Lovers' Bridge. This is the part of the trip that mainly has to do with enjoying the very particular rocky coast in the area. As this is a private trip, how long we stay here depends on the group.

We can snorkel here only between May and October, when it is allowed (and also we will have not enough time if we pick travellers from Larnaca).

If we do not snorkel here, it would be possible to snorkel in south Cape Greko.

2: Cape Cavo Greco

The Cape Greko Sea Caves Cove is one of the best attractions in the wider area. Being on a kayak in the cove is a pleasurable way to explore the cove. Kayakers can relax on the kayaks and go around exploring all corners of the cove (while being careful not to go too close on the rocks). During the hot season, usually a number of people jump from high up the cliff into the water, providing us with a show. It is usually possible, for those who want to, to swim or snorkel around the cove, or even explore on foot some of the caves (sea shoes are strongly encouraged if one wants to step on the rocks).

This is found along the south coast of Cape Greko. There are small rocky coves that are lovely for swimming and snorkelling especially because of the clear blue waters and the rocky coast (and not so much for biodiversity).

This is a very out of the box tour that is for the divers who can only get a day or 2 away from the family but want to experience the best of Cyprus diving all along the East Coast.

The stadium of Kourion is located between the archaeological site of Kourion and the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates in Cyprus. It was constructed during the reign of Emperor Antoninus Pius in the 2nd century CE and was used for the sports of the Hellenic pentathlon like running, jumping, wrestling and throwing the discus or javelin. With seven rows of seats, the stadium of Kourion could accommodate around 6000 spectators

5: Archaeological Site of Palaepaphos

The archaeological site of Palaipafos (old Pafos in Greek) is located in Kouklia Village and was one of the most important city-kingdoms of Cyprus, as well as the first Cypriot site to be included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 1980.

The Sanctuary of Aphrodite is the most famous of the Ancient Greek Goddess sanctuaries, and its ancient remains date back to the 12th century BC, whilst it remained a place of worship until the 3rd - 4th centuries AD.

There are two versions of how Palaipafos was founded; one story tells that Agapenor, the King of Tegea (Peloponesus), founded the city-kingdom on his way back from the Trojan War. A second legend tells that Kinyras, the local legendary king (12th century) was the founder and first High Priest of The Sanctuary of Aphrodite.

The museum, housed in a Lusignan Manor, exhibits many interesting finds from the area and portrays how the Cult of the Goddess of Fertility developed into the Cult of Aphrodite.

Ummu Haram is the paternal aunt of Mohammed the prophet. She came to Cyprus on Arab raids 649 and was attacked by Genoese forces and fell down from a mull and broke her neck. 6: Tochni

Tochni is a village located in the Larnaca District of Cyprus, about halfway between the cities of Larnaca and Limassol. Prior to 1974, Tochni had a mixed Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot population.

There are the ruins of a Latin church in the centre of the village, overlooking the Orthodox church of St Constantine and Helena. The current church has been reconstructed on the site of the original, over a bridge, said to have been founded by St Helena on return from the Holy Land having brought with her a piece of the True Cross.
