OVERVIEWWhile Czech beer is often talked about among tourists, the country also has an impressive wine scene. Head down into a historic wine cellar in the middle of Prague to try out several of the countrys most popular vintages, as well as different varieties to compare them with from around the world on this small-group wine-tasting experience.Wine-tasting experience in a traditional Czech wine cellarDont wait for a serverfill up your glass using the cellars wine machinesCompare traditional Czech vintages with wines from around the worldSmall-group experience: You wont have to share the space with many othersINCLUDESBottled waterWine tastingSommelier ready to helpList of wines with basic descriptionEXCLUDESSnacksMEETING AND PICKUPMeeting pointKiíkova 180/28We will meet you in the WineList wine bar.Options and Start time2 Hours Wine Tasting in a Historical Cellar in Krizikova :03:30 PM, 05:30 PM, 07:30 PMEnd pointThis activity ends back at the meeting point.WHAT TO EXPECTWe offer a very special wine tasting.
Once you arrive, you will get a chip card with CZK 900 credit to operate our wine machines.
We will also provide you with a list of wines, water, and a glass (in fact, feel free to take more glasses to compare wines against each other).
Most visitors simply try our recommended list of local wines to get a very good snapshot of the Czech (we should say Moravian) wine scene.
However, this list is just a starting point. Would you like to compare a local Pinot Noir with the French original? You will likely find both in the same machine. Are you interested in Bordeaux but were afraid to ask? Our Bordeaux Corner may help. Curious about New World Reds? Great value for money!
Or take the full list of wines and figure out what you want to do
The 900 CZK credit is enough to try tasting samples of 25+ wines and this is what our customers normally do. However, the card can be reloaded in a second if necessary.
We usually offer 64 different wines every day.
Our cheese and salami plates (not included in the CZK 900 credit) are designed to match the wines. Just in case you were a bit hungry.Duration: 2 hoursADDITIONAL INFOWheelchair accessibleService animals allowedPublic transportation options are available nearbyTransportation options are wheelchair accessibleNot recommended for pregnant travelersNot recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular healthSuitable for all physical fitness levelsMinimum age required to participate is 18 years oldNot wheelchair accessibleThis tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelersThis tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers in totalCANCELLATION POLICYFor a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.(For information purpose only - definite start times will show on voucher, once confirmed) -
