WHAT TO EXPECT
Your dedicated Desert Guide will pick up from your hotel in Dahab between 07.45 - 08.00. You will head north west on the Aphalt road to the entrance of the desert at Wadi Arada. Continuing off-road through the valley, passing local homes, you reach the top of the Double Canyon. Here you will descend the canyon by foot, manoeuvring past the boulders and sliding down the canyon floor, challenging and thrilling. Once on the canyon floor you will meander through the canyon of sand stone formations, exiting at the point where lunch is being freshly prepared. Enjoy an authentic lunch cooked on the open fire, with freshly baked bread from the local lady.

Continuing after lunch you will take to the 4x4 Jeeps again and cross the desert plateau into El Barqat desert to the highest sand dunes in South Sinai. En-route you will pass amazing rock formations, local villages and stunning scenery. You will have time to stop off at each location and end at the sand dunes for some sand boarding down the long dunes. Taking the Jeeps back towards the Asphalt road your tour will stop off at Nawamis, an area of ancient tombs dating back to the bronze age, a spectacular sight at the end of the day, with the mixture of pink, orange and purple tones. Your tour will aim to return to Dahab at approximately 18.00.

Starting at 9.00 am, 10.00 am or 11.00 am 30 minutes to Blue Hole, a spectacular snorkeling destination steeped in hard corals such as the Acropora, brain, and star corals that lie south of the beautiful lagoon. Spend 3 hours snorkeling in this amazing scenery, and observe the various marine life that calls the region its home including triggerfish, jacks, unicornfish, parrotfish, angelfish, grouper fish, and surgeonfish.

Start at 08:00 am from Dahab and drive by Jeep to White Canyon. The White Canyon, a splendid example of eroded sandstone, its floor awash with white powdered sand. Its narrow, winding path opens up to plateaus of harsh desert and then narrows again, until the exit at the oasis of Ain Khudra. Its a beautiful place with date palms and water springs that have been home to Bedouin tribes for over one thousand years. There you will have 1 hour for walking.

You will then visit Ain Khudra Oasis, drink Bedouin tea there. Then drive for 40 minutes to see the Mushroom Rock. Stay there for about 20 minutes and then have lunch in a Bedouin Village. Ras Mohammed is Egypt's first marine national park, located approximately 25mtr southwest of Sharm El-Sheikh. Worlds famous coral reef, a fantastic snorkeling spot with the rich arrays of marine life attract tourists and divers from all around the world. The park contains a variety of stunning geological features, such as uplifted coral reefs, alluvial plains, wadis, granite, sandstone mountains, and soft dunes.

You will picked up from your hotel in Dahab at 08.00am and drive to Sharm where you will board the snorkeling boat to sail to Ras Mohammed. You will spend a wonderful day of snorkeling, swimming (lunch & soft drinks are provided), there will be 3 stops on the best areas for those who love jumping to enjoy the coral reefs and exploring the amazing underwater life. After that you will sail back to the dock and drive back to the hotel in Dahab at 17.00.

1: Ras Mohommed National Park

Travel to Ras Mohammed, the most famous national park in Egypt and one of the most famous sites for diving and snorkeling in the world, on a full-day trip from Dahab. It is located between the rich coral reefs of the Red Sea and the inland desert of the Sinai, and it covers the coral headland at the southernmost tip of Sinai.

Head out at 08.00am in the morning, and upon arriving at the park, take a drive to the mangroves, where you can catch a glimpse of the inhabitants of the area. Then stop to enjoy lunch.

The rest of your afternoon will be spent swimming and snorkeling. Beneath the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea you will find coral reefs teeming with life, including a diversity of vertebrate and invertebrate species. Explore this protected site to the fullest before beginning your return trip back to Dahab at about 17.00.
