The establishment is situated just 5 miles from the Cathedral City of Ripon and the ancient Market Town of Knaresborough, and 8 miles from the cosmopolitan spa town of beautiful Harrogate. A wealth of historical and cultural sites are also within easy reach of the house, among which one can find the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey and Studley Roger, Ripley Castle, Newby Hall and RHS Harlow Carr Gardens to name but a few.
