Discover Norwich as you unlock a hidden trail finding clues, solving puzzles, and completing challenges, earning points along the way all self-guided through our unique app. See the area's highlights, explore its hidden gems, and learn some insider history and fun facts.

Your puzzle-filled adventure will begin in front of the largest medieval city hall outside of London, then wind you through the higgledy-piggledy Lanes and cobbled streets ending at the Norwich City Council building. Along the way explore one of the UKs most preserved medieval cities, learn about a riotous rebellion near the cathedral, walk along the River Wensum, discover why its call the City of Stories and hear a ghost story or two.

As the Quest is self guided you can:

Explore the several fascinating creature zones in Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary with your entrance ticket.

First, join the Rainforest Rangers to meet our very friendly Bosc Monitor Lizard. These lizards are native to Africa and can be found in thick grassland, they also have powerful limbs to help with digging and climbing. Our team of friendly Rainforest Rangers are ready to show you some of their jungle beasties! If you have ever wanted to hold a snake, lizard or a giant creepy crawly from the deepest depths of the jungle, then join us in this NEW interactive experience.

Visit our Seal Rescue Centre to appreciate the resident seals and the latest pups our dedicated animal care team are tentatively caring for. Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary is home to Norfolk's only seal sanctuary open to visitors. You'll be able to follow the journey of our injured seals through their rescue. Starting from local coastal waters, through rehabilitation and eventually release back into the wild!

Visit the outside seal enclosure and get a spectacular view from underwater. Get a closer look of our resident seals and learn about their individual stories at the seal feeding presentations throughout the day.

By the Otter River, meet our cheeky chappies Smartie, Twix & Yorkie. They are a family of Asian Short Clawed Otters. Get a sneaky peak into their den via a private viewing glass and watch them play in their specially designed river enclosure, complete with running stream & diving pool.

In the Ocean Tunnel, the amazing Ocean tank holds 187,500 litres of natural seawater and is home to over 30 amazing different species of fish and our majestic Green Sea Turtle, Ernie!

In the Ocean Display, get face to face with the Blacktip Reef Shark that is a species of requiem shark and belongs to the Carcharhinidae family. These sharks are often identified by the prominent black tips at the end of the fins. These sharks are commonly found inhabiting the tropical coral reefs of the Indian and Pacific Oceans.

Be prepared to be amazed as you come closer than ever before to astonishing colourful assortment of creatures in our Tropical Reef displays filled with Blue Regal Tangs, Clown Fish and much more.

Step out of the ocean and into the hot and humid rainforest to experience what life is like beneath the tropical treetops. Winding through the roots and tree trunks, Amazonia Rivers are home to some spectacular fish, amphibians & reptiles. Get a close look of the Piranhas with ruby-red bellies via our heads-up tank for the kids and our Cuviers Dwarf Caiman. Get a up close look and see their menacing smile just snapping distance away.

Whatever the weather, there is plenty to do at SEA LIFE Hunstanton. Enjoy the hot summer weather with a cooling cold drink, snacks and a selection of ice creams at the Pirate Kiosk whilst the children play on the adventure playground!

Lowestoft Harbour (Pass by)

Depart from Lowestoft Harbour and cruise through one of the East Coasts busiest commercial ports, supporting the North Sea offshore wind industry. Pass the historic South Pier and, depending on harbour activity, see offshore supply vessels, cargo ships, fishing boats, yachts, workboats, and crew transfer vessels.

Claremont Pier (Pass by)

May pass Claremont Pier, one of Lowestofts historic seaside landmarks, with views across the seafront, sandy beaches, and out to the North Sea. Depending on route, sea conditions and customer preferences, this section of coastline may or may not be included, offering glimpses of Lowestofts long stretches of beach and traditional seaside frontage.

Pakefield Beach (Pass by)

May pass Pakefield Beach, a quieter stretch of Lowestofts coastline known for its sandy beach, gentle cliffs and traditional seaside character. Depending on route, sea conditions and customer preferences, this area may be included, offering views along the open shoreline and out across the North Sea.

Kessingland (Pass by)

May pass Kessingland Beach and the surrounding cliffs, a more rugged stretch of coastline south of Lowestoft known for its open sands and natural shoreline. Depending on route, sea conditions and customer preferences, travellers may also see the nearby Pakefield Lighthouse, offering a glimpse of the areas maritime heritage along this quieter coastal section of the North Sea.

Kittiwake Hotel (Pass by)

May pass artificial seabird nesting structures known as kittiwake hotels, purpose-built installations along the coastline designed to encourage breeding seabird colonies in safe elevated habitats. Depending on route, sea conditions and customer preferences, these structures may be visible offshore, often attracting kittiwakes and other coastal bird species.

Benacre National Nature Reserve (Pass by)

May pass Benacre Ness, a dynamic and rapidly changing stretch of coastline where shingle banks, marshland and cliffs meet the North Sea. Depending on route, sea conditions and customer preferences, travellers may see a wild, undeveloped landscape shaped by coastal erosion and shifting tides, with rich birdlife often present along this remote section of the shore.

Ness Point (Pass by)

May pass Ness Point, the most easterly point of the UK, where travellers can view the meeting of town, coastline and open sea. Nearby, the towering Gulliver wind turbine can also be seen offshore, which at the time of installation was the tallest onshore wind turbine in the UK. Depending on route, sea conditions and customer preferences, this landmark section of coast may be included as part of the journey.

Corton Beach (Pass by)

May pass Corton Beach, a wide sandy stretch of coastline north of Lowestoft backed by cliffs and open sea views. WHAT TO EXPECT

The Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club (Pass by)

Depart from the yacht basin, passing the historic Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club and a variety of moored sailing yachts and leisure craft. Travellers will also pass the preserved heritage fishing trawler Mincarlo, a 1960s built vessel and one of the last surviving Lowestoft fishing trawlers, reflecting the towns rich maritime and fishing heritage.

Lowestoft Bascule Bridge (Pass by)

Travellers will pass beneath the impressive Lowestoft Bascule Bridge, one of the towns best known landmarks linking the north and south sides of the port. From the water, guests get a unique perspective of the lifting bridge structure as vessels transit through the busy harbour below.

Lake Lothing (Pass by)

Cruise through Lake Lothing, the heart of Lowestofts commercial port and maritime industry. Depending on harbour activity, travellers may see a range of working vessels including offshore supply ships, research vessels, cargo ships, Border Force vessels and other commercial craft.

Along the route, guests will pass iconic waterfront landmarks including the towering grain silo, operational drydock facilities, the modern Gull Wing Bridge, and gain a unique waterside view of locations such as Asda and the former Boulton and Paul factory site.

Oulton Broad (Pass by)

Continue through the western reaches of Lake Lothing towards Oulton Broad, an area rich in maritime and industrial history. Travellers will pass the former Brooks Marine shipbuilding site and visit the locations of four ship wrecks.

Along the route, guests will also see the Oulton Broad Road Bridge, the lock linking the Broads to the sea, and the railway swing bridge carrying trains across the water. The journey also passes the MTB 102 Trust, home to the famous wartime motor torpedo boat MTB 102.

Step beneath the waves at SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth and get closer than ever before to the creatures and features of the worlds oceans, with over 1,500 sea creatures and the 250,000 litre Tropical Ocean Display/tunnel is where you can see an awesome array of creatures and our largest inhabitants as they roam around the Lost City of Atlantis.
