Churchill Hotel

The Churchill Hotel is located in Bayeaux, a town on the Aure river in the Normandy region of northwestern France. Its medieval center contains cobbled streets, half-timbered houses and the towering, Norman-Gothic Cathedrale Notre-Dame. A must see is also the Baron Gerard Museum of Art and History is housed in the former Episcopal Palace of the Bishop of Bayeux; it boasts a fine collection of paintings, archaeological discoveries, and Bayeux porcelain and lace as well as the Botanical Gardens that date back to the 19th century and are labelled a Historical Monument of France. The SNCF Train Station is located about a mile away from the hotel and the Caen – Carpiquet Airport is located 16 miles away. Use of rental car recommended.
