You will enjoy discovering these castles in the middle of the vineyards. You will be charmed by the beauty of this heritage, which since the French Revolution has continued to improve.

1: Chateau Franc Mayne

We will take you to visit one of the magnificent castles for which the wines of Saint-Emilion are famous. Grape varieties, destemming, cuvaison, fermentation, fining... you will know everything about vinification, the different grape varieties used and the blended wines. You will be able to see that the modernism of today's cellars marries perfectly with ancestral working techniques in order to give birth, each year, to wonderful vintages, always having an assertive temperament.
Château Franc-Mayne, by allowing you to visit the limestone plateau from the inside, will give you the keys to understanding the mineral notes of the Grands Crus of Saint-Emilion.
This visit will conclude with a tasting of the estate's wines. During this tasting, you will be given valuable advice for aging, for your future purchases of Saint-Émilion wines.

You will be welcomed by a real local guide. After 10 minutes devoted to safety instructions, we will set off to discover Bordeaux, along a magnificent course of approximately 13km, perfectly secure and suitable for bicycles.
We will discover the unmissable places of the city, Saint Michel and its incredible bell tower, we will cross the Garonne via the magnificent stone bridge to go and admire the facade of the quays from the walk in the park of the angels. We will see the Darwin eco-district before taking the impressive Jacques Chaban-Delmas opening bridge. We continue the walk through the Chartrons district famous for its Bordeaux wine trade, then towards the public garden before going through the historic center of the city with its cobbled streets and pretty little squares filled with terraces. Finally we will pass in front of the essential water mirror and the pretty Cailhau gate before returning to the starting point.

The Port Cailhau, thirty-five metres tall, was integrated into the city walls. In 1864, it was rented by a public letter writer and a person whose job was to weigh salt.
