Greece
Greece is THE land of ancient sites and architectural treasures: the Acropolis in Athens, the amphitheater of Epidaurus, the reconstructed palace at Knossos, the belly button of the cosmos at Delphi, fallen columns galore on the sacred island of Delos, and frescoed Minoan palaces on Crete. But don't expect a visit there to be a sober study of the ancient world, the Greek propensity for partying dates back to Dionysus. Then there are 1400 islands to explore. Greece is much more than what you were taught at school or the predictable summer image of glorious sunsets and sandy beaches.

Syros Island
The most famous spot of Syros is Ermoupolis, the capital town, which distinguishes for its Venetian architecture and the large port. Syros, Greece, is a well-kept secret in the Cyclades, but it is not for the lack of historical sites, beautiful beaches and traditional tavernas on offer. The most interesting site in Syros are found in Ermoupolis and include the Town Hall of Ermoupolis which is the trademark of the island, the Church of Resurrection and the Church of Agios Nikolaos. These two churches, one Catholic and the other Orthodox, are constructed on top of the two hills of Ermoupolis, one facing the other. Apart from the capital town, a very nice place to stroll around is Ano Syros, a settlement located on the slopes of a hill and offering a fantastic view of the sea.
Visit and explore the Galissas Beach, Kini Beach, Agathopes Beach, Industrial Museum of Ermoupolis, Archeological Museum of Syros, Chapel of Agia Pakou and much more. -
Mykonos Island
A whitewashed paradise in the heart of the Cyclades, famous for its sophisticated nightlife and gorgeous beaches with stunning natural beauties, picturesque villages, plus the historic treasures of nearby Delos. It is a place where celebrities, college students and families mingle together to celebrate the Greek summer. Mykonos is a top European summer destination, offering magnificent beaches and scuba diving centers. The nightlife is an essential Mykonian attraction, made of famous clubs and taverns, like the beach bars of Paradise and Paranga.
Enjoy the fantastic beaches on the south, the sunset from Little Venice, the view from the windmills and a night out in Mykonos Town. -
Santorini Island
Santorini is considered to be the most sought after place for a romantic getaway in Greece, since there are not many places in the world where you can enjoy exquisitely clear waters while perched on the rim of a massive active volcano in the middle of the sea! Fira, the picturesque capital of the island, is perched high up on the edge of the Caldera, looking like a marvelous painting. Some of the villages are cosmopolitan some more peaceful; they are surrounded by vast vineyards; whitewashed cliff-top towns with castles affording amazing views out over the Aegean. Soaking up the villages' distinctive traditional atmosphere is a very unique experience.
Visit and explore the great Fira, Oia, Imerovigli and other charming villages, the beaches, Akrotiri Archaeological Site, Monasteries and Churches, Caldera, and much more!
