Departure from Ornos in Mykonos. Within a short and enjoyable boat trip, we reach the small port of Delos, from which you can see the ancient monuments of the island. The holy island for Ancient Greeks, according to the mythology, was revealed through the waves of the Aegean Sea by Poseidon, when Leto - persecuted by Hera - arrived there to give birth to Apollo and Artemis. It is also possible to organize guided tours by professional guides so you can find out more about its rich and impressive history over the centuries.

2: Rineia

We leave Delos and head for the nearby Rhenia. In antiquity, when the Athenians imposed clearance on the island of Delos, ordering not to give birth or die on the holy island, Rhenia was transformed into a vast necropolis. At the same time, the island was also a sanatorium, where used to end up all the people with the severe illnesses who were no longer allowed to remain in Delos.

But it is all in the past and today Rhenia is a true paradise on earth. 13:00h Meeting Point at Hotel Agia Anna at Paraga Beach. There is a public bus from la Fabrica Bus Station in Mykonos town to Paraga Beach bus stop (15minutes busride), from here its a 5min walk to Hotel Agia Anna on the beach.
If you want, you can come earlier and relax on the beach ;)
Bus trip is not included, the cost is only 2 euros.
A taxi cost around 40euros from town.
You can wear flip-flops for the walk but shoes are recommended. NO high heels.
Girls: wear your most beautiful dress for your pictures.
Don't leave your trash on the floor, we keep Mykonos clean.

Here I will show you the location of one of the famous clubs Cavo Paradiso. This open air club operates from midnight till sunrise.
18:00h The beach crawling tour is over. For those who want to walk with me back to Kalua (where the public bus station is) can do so. All others enjoy where they want to enjoy.
There is also a public bus stop at Tropicana going to Mykonos Town which you can use. The public bus is selfpay.

Every Tuesday we go to Alemagou for dinner and party, including transfer from the starting point of Agia Anna, Paraga Beach, and return transfer to Little Venice (Mykonos Town) at midnight. We will have a stop at Paleokastro, at the famous ruins of a Venetian castle. 3: Terrace of the lions

This terrace was erected and dedicated to Apollo by the people of Naxos just before 600 BCE. The terrace consisted of a row of nine to twelve marble carved lions that faced eastward towards the Sacred Lake of Delos along the Sacred Way from Skardana Bay to the temples. The lions, with their mouths open as if roaring or snarling, were both meant to guard the sanctuaries and to inspire a feeling of divine fear among the worshippers.

Starting the City-and Island tour by walking the small and narrow streets, having many possibilities to take nice photographs in the early morning, quiet city. We get orientation and information in the labyrinth of the old town as well as impressions of the small port and the churches in town. Of course we will see the famous wind- mills and find Petros the Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos.

After this we are exploring the island, visiting some of the most famous beaches and the inner landscape.

We see fishermen and kaikis, small private chapels and houses built in typical Cycladic style.

In the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera, an idyllic place 6km from town, where the guests have enough free time for a stroll around the traditional square and they can visit the monk monastery of Panagia Tourliani built in the 16th century.

Next stop is Kalafatis beach were there is time to relax for a while and have a coffee or a refreshment (not included in the price). WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Archaeological Site of Delos

Choose a morning or sunset cruise when you book. Then, on the day, depart from your hotel by air-conditioned minivan and travel to Mykonos new port for your Mykonos boat trip. Meet your professional skipper and crew, and find a comfortable spot on our modern sailing catamaran.Sit back and admire Mykonian small white houses as your vessel pulls away from dock. Relax and enjoy the sea breezes, and take snaps of the views as your catamaran cuts through the waves of the Aegean Sea. As you sail, enjoy our home made wine or our traditional homemade drink that is popular in Crete island (RAKI) . After a short sail across the north part of the island, we pass by the small island of BAOS, the pirates island, then sail to the archeological site of Delos island. As you arrive you will have a short stop in front of the site of Delos where you can take pictures of the archaeological site from the catamaran as our hostess will explain to you some history of the island. Then we sail to the nearby island of Rhenia we drop anchor in a small beautifull cove with cristal clear turquoise water for swimm and snorkel as we serve our delicious full meal freshly cooked on board. As we arrive back we are pass by the famous little Venice for some amazing photos of mykonos windmills and the old town. If youve chosen the sunset cruise, soak up the sight of one of Mykonos golden sunsets. Take pictures and enjoy the moment as the sun unravel. Lastly, dock back at the port and finish your tour with a hotel drop-off.

Transfers are included from/to all hotels and most areas of Mykonos, however for some remote places (Elia, Kalafatis, Agrari, Panormos, Super Paradise, Paradise & Kanalia) or from remote villas, apartments or houses, there will be an extra charge (10,00 euro per person R/T), payable in cash on the spot to the driver.
All clients are kindly requested to send their preferred meeting point and location until 3:00pm of the previous date. Should they fail to do so, our company will do anything it can in order to locate them (telephone, email, etc), however it is not responsible for any failure to meet them.
Meeting points can be hotels anywhere on the island, the old port or the new port. The information necessary is either the hotel name or the name of the cruise ship they are arriving with.
For any other accommodation, clients are requested to send us a google map, a nearby hotel or any information that would help us locate them.
Any delay of behalf of the client (up until 15 minutes that we will be waiting for them) affects the transfer schedule and disrupts the smooth conduct of the tour/activity.
For no-name accommodations, apartments, houses or villas, our company will set the most convenient location for the pick-up or may have a extra cost (applies for remote areas)

WHAT TO EXPECT

Spiti means home and the Mykonian Spiti is our home that you are welcome at, during this cooking experience. Although this activity highlights the traditional factor of the Mykonian lifestyle, on the other hand a traditional description of its programme hardly does it justice. This may sound vague, but during these 5 hours (approximately) you will experience the traditional Greek way of life, the culture, the Greek art of cooking. It is not what you will do, it is mostly how you will do it. During this time you will learn tips and cooking methods that have made Mykonian Spiti, Mykonos and Greece, loved by its friends and visitors, but most importantly you will instil the hospitality and the everyday lifestyle of a traditional Mykonian family.

There are many details to the class that we could share with you, but the essence is that as you can see, this is much more than learning to cook a fabulous Greek meal. It is also about family, conversation, food and culture. It is quality time in the home of someone close to you, finding yourself in their kitchen helping to cook, enjoying the experience of meeting new people and honoring us by becoming a part of our family.
