One of the most curious features of the Dingle Peninsula are the Fahan Beehive Huts. These drystone corbelled Iron age huts derive their name from the unique shape of the building. The Fahan group are comprised of 19 subterrain and 18 standing clochans (beehive huts). Our guides will lead you through the inscribed stones, sculptured crosses, and earth ring forts. Join us on this 2.5 to 3 hour boat tour from Dingle Bay to the Great Blasket Islands along the magnificent Slea-Head coastline. Tucked away off the rugged coast of County Kerry in Ireland, the Blasket Islands feel like something out of a myth. Once home to a small but fiercely independent Irish-speaking population, the island was abandoned in 1953 but its cultural legacy endures. Breathe in the salt air and truly feel the heartbeat of Irelands untamed soul. You will also have every chance of seeing marine wildlife such as dolphins, whales, seals and puffins. Our Tour is a mix of tasting and sightseeing in Irelands No. 1 foodie town. Our experienced guides will walk you through Dingle stopping at some of the best food and drink destinations the town has to offer. At each stop you will enjoy a variety of tastings of authentic, local food and drinks.
