The Knock Shrine and Museum is only a 10 minute drive from Mulberry Lodge while Ireland West Airport is just 15 minutes away by car. Ballyhaunis has a central position in the heart of Connacht and is an ideal base to explore the west of Ireland. Furthermore, there is a wide selection of quality restaurants, cafe’s and bars in Ballyhaunis, well worth a visit including Mac’s Bar on Main Street, a renowned busy sports bar showing all live sport on several screens.
A varied choice of breakfast to suit all tastes, is served in the elegant dining room from 8am up to 10am; requests outside these hours will be catered for where possible. Items that can be found in the menu include a choice of chilled juices, selection of breakfast cereals including porridge, a selection of fresh fruits and natural yoghurt, a wide choice of cooked breakfast from the traditional full Irish to vegetarian option, homemade brown bread and toast, a variety of teas (regular, decaffeinated or herbal), freshly brewed rich roast or decaffeinated coffee, and gluten free and soya products (available by request).
