I Faraglioni (Pass by)

Faraglioni ROCKS: the three spurs of rock which rise up out of the sea, within meters of the island's Southern coast. The rocks have each been given a name: the first, still attached to the land, is called Stella, the second, separated from the first block by a stretch of sea; Faraglione di Mezzo and the third, Faraglione di Fuori or Scopolo, meaning the head or promontory stretching into the sea.

Punta Carena

The Lighthouse of Punta Carena dominates the Southwestern coast of the island of Capri. Looming behind the lighthouse, there is the precipice of the Migliera, lined with defense walls built by the British at the start of the 19th century in order to protect Capri from invasion. In front of the lighthouse, the sea extends all the way to Sicily.

The light house, 'faro' in Italian, was built in 1866. The second tallest in Italy (after Genoa), it is among the most important of all those guarding over the Tyrrhenian Sea.

White Grotta (Pass by)

The White Grotto is so called for the color of the tuff that dyes the sea cavity with light shades. Wide and wide at the entrance, it is narrowing more and more, until it reaches a tufaceous platform where there are evident signs of the presence of man. The Green Grotto, formerly known as the Grotta dei Turchi, is a cavity located on the southern side of the Island of Capri, in Campania, known above all for the color of the water inside which, due to particular plays of light, takes on the green colour.

Punta Carena Lighthouse (Pass by)

The Punta Carena lighthouse is the second largest in Italy for lighting power (after Genoa), as well as being one of the oldest: the first time it was lit in 1867.

Fortini Coastal Walk (Pass by)

The forts of Capri, also called coastal forts of Anacapri or Bourbon forts, are located in the municipality of Anacapri, in Campania.
The structures, built between the ninth and fifteenth centuries, were initially used as watchtowers, as Capri was continually subjected to pirate raids. Destroyed by the Saracen pirates, at the beginning of the nineteenth century these ancient military buildings were rebuilt by the British or the French who, although in different spans of time, took possession of the island at the beginning of the nineteenth century. In 2004 the forts became an ecomuseum, with the restoration of the structures and the affixing of majolicas that describe the flora and fauna present.

Today it is possible to easily reach the forts thanks to a path that also connects the Blue Grotto with the Punta Carena lighthouse.
