The Albergo delle Spezie is a three stars eco hotel in the heart of the pedestrian zone and the historic centre of the town of La Spezia situated a few minutes walk from the Central Train Station and from the Sea Front, where you can catch the regular ferries for the Cinque Terre, Portovenere and the isle of Palmaria. Porto Venere, with its beautiful beaches, is a 10 minutes drive from the property, a bus stop with direct links to Lerici is 300 yards away and Pisa International Airport is 1 hour away by car.
The Albergo delle Spezie is an eco-friendly hotel, and ready to welcome those on the go that want to make the environment their priority. With its 10 en suite rooms, the structure implements energy efficiency plans, promoting recycling of materials and applying proper waste management through the refuse collection in the rooms and the reduction of packaging. In our rich breakfast buffet and bar, organic food is also offered using as much as possible local produce and Fair Trade. The furnishings have a ‘green’ philosophy. Most of the furniture has been made by us with recycled materials. From ‘skateboard chairs’, to beds made from wooden pallets, through to ski coat-hangers and tennis racket mirrors. The whole structure is covered by free wi-fi.
