My typicality is that I am not in a hurry, if we finish a few minutes later, it's no problem!

We will only pass next to Mazzorbo, depending on the tour we take, towards Torcello. It is famous for its native vines, and if we have time we stop for a glass of wine...the salt marshes and numerous birds, including pink flamingos

We will spend the remaining part of the time sailing between one island and another, admiring the typical places, where I will provide you with a beautiful explanation on board!!

It depends very much on the time you spend in the previous islands and I, during the time of your tour, will always be at your disposal to best create your tour options. Remember, however, that you may be on a boat with other people (shared tour) everyone must agree!! But how can you not see part of the beautiful lagoon? IMPOSSIBLE.

3: Isola di Burano - World Heritage Site

We will arrive in Burano, in the main canal, where on your right, you will admire the crooked bell tower, all the colorful fishermen's houses, while the banks will be full of people, we will pass by with the boat, where we will moor!

The shops are PRE-SELECTED because in each of them, the history of the island and its traditions will be told.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Meet your guide in St. Mark's Square and take the time to admire the squares grand monuments before setting off on a walking tour of the city. The theatre of San Giovanni Grisostomo was built in only four months at the end of 1677.

6: Doge's Palace

Our guide will accompany you to the Doges Palace, which dominates Saint Mark's Square, the heart of Venice, standing out for its size and its extraordinary structure, where Byzantine, European and Oriental architecture collide. Immediately entering the Palace you will pass through the great courtyard and admire the wealth of detail on the famous Golden Staircase.
Once inside the Palace, you will visit the halls where the Duke (Doge) and his Council controlled the fate of the Serene Republic, whilst surrounded by hundreds of artistic masterpieces and discover the political history of Venice and its people. You will be able to admire the paintings realised by some of the most important artists of the Italian Renaissance, amongst them, the world's largest oil painting by Tintoretto. Passing through the famous Bridge of Sighs, you will reach the new prisons. The bridge was given its name by the English poet Lord Byron, probably referring to the last breath of the prisoners, who had their last view of the lagoon and of Venice from the window of this bridge, before they were to be imprisoned.

7: Basilica di San Marco

During the second part of the tour you will visit the Basilica, once the private chapel of the Doge of Venice, and the only one of its kind in Italy, thanks to the sumptous golden mosaics and impressive marble inlay flooring.
During the tour you will be able to sit down in the church and absorb the atmosphere whilst listening to your guide who will describe the biblical scenes represented throughout the building, together with history and particularities of this ancient Basilica.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Find your guide at Campo San Moisè, who will be holding a sign with the name of the tour company. Embark on a city walking tour through Venice's central area, exploring the area between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. Make stops at the Scala del Bovolo and Teatro la Fenice.

Our "Palazzo Ducale", a magnificent combination of Byzantine, Gothic and Renaissance architecture, the centre of the Venetian Empire and the seat of the Venetian Government.
It was once the residence of the Doge, the elected ruler of the city. You will pass through its lavish chambers, which display masterpieces by Tintoretto, Titian, Veronese and Bellini.
You will hear about the different roles played by the Doge and his counsellors, be entertained by the Venetian legends as you walk through the narrow passageways towards the prison cells whilst learning about the prisoners and of course, about Casanova, perhaps Venice's most famous and intriguing escapee.

This tour is a compromise between an informative walk and a food tour. I will take you to 2 different "bacari" where you will taste a glass of wine (or soft drink) and a cicchetto in each bar and the last place will be to taste a fantastic homemade ICE CREAM (in the summer) or a typical dessert. At the same time I will show you a more authentic and less touristy Venice, we will see a courtyard with a legendary history, a particular bridge, buildings out of time, I will tell you anecdotes and curiosities about this splendid city ... and much more!
Venice is a magical city, so don't be surprised by what we will see, because only in Venice can this happen...
