Trip Summary

  • Marrakech

Marrakech has a long and storied history tied to the tragedies and triumphs of the sultans and kings of Morocco. Along with Fez, Meknes and Rabat, Marrakech was one of the four 'imperial capitals of Morocco.' The heart of the fortified Old City is an area called The Medina, filled with historical buildings and great shopping opportunities at the myriad souqs. The Medina, along with Menara Gardens and Agdal Gardens, have all been named UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The thriving center of town is the Jemaa el-Fna, which explodes with activity and color after nightfall. Marrakech is also a jumping-off point for tourists to explore the beautiful Atlas Mountains.

Explore and enjoy The Medina, Agdal Gardens, Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, La Palmeraie, Gueliz, Jemaa el-Fna, Jardin Majorelle, Palais de la Bahia, and so much more.

  • Merzouga

Merzouga acts as a gateway to the dramatic wilderness of the Sahara Desert. There is absolutely nothing like the excitement of going up a soaring Sahara desert sand dunes at sunset to see the sundown sitting on a camelback, or hire an ATV and cruise through the sand dunes.

Visit and explore the great Morocco National 4x4 Auto Museum, Lake Dayet Srij, Merzouga Desert, Touareg Safari and much more.

  • Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate is one of the wonderful destinations in Morocco offering a huge list of things to do and see. A former French colonial garrison town, today the Ouallywood movie business is booming, with Ouarzazate's dramatic landscapes appearing in numerous movies and TV shows.

Visit and explore the amazing Cinema Museum, Taourirt Kasbah, Tifoultoute Kasbah, The Old Synagogue, and much more.
