The quaint town of Namur is stylish, charming and a politically significant city in the Wallonia region of Belgium. The undeniable highlight of the city however is without a doubt its citadel. Until relatively recent times, the citadel was most impressive of its kind in Europe. And due to the history, Namur has an interesting mix of architecture from several different time periods. As a matter of fact, Namur is an important commercial and industrial center, located on the Walloon industrial backbone, the Sambre and Meuse valley. Moreover, it produces machinery, leather goods, metals and porcelain. Namur's views are nothing to complain about, most people think they're very much underrated.
