Africa is a vast and scenically stunning continent that boasts soaring mountains, sprawling savannahs, dense jungles, wild animal safaris, chaotic cities, and ancient tribes. The second largest continent on the earth, it has long since been considered the cradle of civilization, with ancient tribes from Egypt to South Africa. It is also one of the few places on the planet where you can find several species of plants and animals including the Big Five: lion, rhino, elephant, cape buffalo, and leopard. There are so many unparalleled adventures to be had and nature to be seen in this unique continent that we’ve narrowed down to a Top 10, which certainly leaves out some incredible experiences. The easiest country to visit in West Africa is Ghana and is often called 'Africa for Beginners.' It boasts diverse landscapes, beautiful beaches, and excellent surfing conditions. Other popular destinations include Senegal, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Togo, and Cape Verde.
Central Africa, or Middle Africa, extends from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the African Great Lakes region at the eastern border of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and from Chad in the north to Angola in the south. Archeological discoveries in this region date back more than 100,000 years.
Africa is filled with natural beauty and home to some of the most exotic islands in the world. These African Islands are filled with pristine white beaches, mesmerizing turquoise waters, and vast green valleys where peace and tranquility await.
The Red Sea lies between the northeast coast of Africa and the Arabian peninsula which is bordered by Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Djbouti, Eritrea, and Sudan. It is where the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba meet, creating an excellent marine destination. The Red Sea is the perfect place for diving and snorkeling, boasting some amazing waters with seabeds home to many natural reefs sand marine life.

To travel is to discover the culture of a new country, to mix with its inhabitants and its landscapes, and to sample its unique gastronomy. The continent of Africa has some outstanding travel destinations, foods, cuisines and delicacies. From the humble maize/grain porridges to grand feasting dishes, African food provides flavorful quirks and something for every palate.
