De Leeuw is located in the heart of the medieval city of Deventer, Netherlands. This historical village with its well preserved buildings will fascinate travelers. Attractions and sights worth visiting include the Lebuinuskerk church, the Waag house, the Brink square and its shops, the Etty Hillesum Centrum and the Bergkerk church, all of which are within 9 minutes walking distance away. Due to the central location, guests will also find many interesting restaurants, traditional bars and cafes in the surrounding area. The Deventer Station is also just 8 minutes walking distance away from the hotel`s accommodations.

Hotel Hanzestadlogement is situated in a historical building dating back to 1645. When you enter the hotel, the atmosphere reminds you of grandmother`s days. It`s a cozy and small family hotel with a tea and coffee house. There is a shop in the hotel where you can buy all sorts of candy and Deventer koek (spiced cookies). A continental breakfast is served from 8.00 till 10.00 (on request after 7.00 o`clock) with several kinds of fresh bread and traditional Hanseatic products from our shop. They do not serve dinner but there are a lot of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Wireless internet is available in all areas and is free of charge. Public parking is possible at a location nearby (charged). No elevator available.
