We will hike to our favourite spot on top of the Geitanuken mountain. The hike up is only 20-40 minutes, and is suitable for all ages. At the top you will have stunning views of Bergen, Åsane and of course the beautiful fjord. Low effort hike with very high rewards.

After reaching the top we will stop for photos, for coffee and water, and simply take in the gorgeous views.

Bergenhus fortress is a fortress located in Bergen, Norway. Located at the entrance of Bergen harbour, the castle is one of the oldest and best-preserved stone fortifications in Norway. Be prepared to spend time in the great Bergenhus Fortress Museum with its fascinating exhibits relating to the contribution of women and resistance groups during the 1940-45 German occupation. Afterwards, stroll up to the walled remains of Sverresborg, a fortress built around 1660 on the remains of an even older 12th Century castle.

Bergen Cathedral is a cathedral in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. Gamlehaugen (Pass by)

Gamlehaugen is the royal residence in Bergen, located on the shore of Lake Nordåsvannet just south of the city. The elegant white mansion, built in 1900, serves as the official residence of the Norwegian royal family when they visit Bergen. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland, it is often called Bergens little royal castle.

1: Mørkhølsfossen

Our first stop will be at the beautifull waterfall ''Mørkholsfossen''.
The surrounding area is ideal for short hikes and nature walks. A scenic path along the river leads you to the best viewpoint, where the waterfall reveals its full beauty. The sound of rushing water dominates the atmosphere, creating a calming backdrop for picnics, photography, or simply soaking in the tranquility.

2: Fossen Bratte

Just 5 minutes drive from our first waterfall, we stop at Fossen Bratte, one of the most dramatic waterfalls along the route, often called The Brides Veil because of its elegant white spray is known for its impressive 80-meter drop and the powerful roar that echoes through the valley.

Today, the road passes through a tunnel behind the waterfall, but after parking, we can follow the old road to reach the top of the fall.
You can also choose to go the opposite way - down to the bottom of this mighty cascade, where you can truly feel the strength of the water.

Your guide is always with you, helping you find your way, take the best photos, and enjoy the best possible experience.

Today we drive in a tunnel behind the waterfall, but when we park we can use the old road to get right up to the top of the waterfall. We can also choose to move the opposite way - down to the bottom of this mighty waterfall.

On our way back to Bergen, we pass through Kvamskogen, enjoying a scenic mountain drive through forests, lakes, and open highland landscapes before returning to the city.

3: Salthammeren Stone Age Carvings

We make a stop at Salthammeren, a unique cultural heritage site featuring rock carvings from the Stone Age.

A short path leads you down to the rock surface where these ancient figures were carved into the mountainside including animal motifs and symbols that offer a glimpse into the life and beliefs of the people who lived here thousands of years ago.

From the viewpoint next to the carvings, you also get a fantastic overview of the Hardangerfjord and the majestic mountains surrounding it.

4: Hardanger Maritime Centre

After enjoying the fjord scenery at Salthammeren, we continue to Norheimsund often called the capital of the Hardanger region with the fjord stretching out in front of us and majestic mountains rising behind.

The scenic waterfront promenade of Norheimsund invites you to take a peaceful stroll while enjoying stunning views of the Hardangerfjord.

The town is also known for its fruit farms, and during apple season, you can taste fresh apples straight from the tree.

In Norheimsund, we visit the Hardanger Maritime Center a living museum where traditional wooden boats, coastal crafts, and centuries-old techniques are still kept alive. You can watch skilled boatbuilders at work, explore authentic workshops, and step into Hardangers maritime heritage.

Located near Norheimsund in Hardanger just a 10-minute drive from Øystese Steinsdalsfossen is one of Norways most popular waterfalls.

1 hour of gastronomic (food tasting) tour and 1 hour of walking part of your tour will be ended at the lower station of Floibanen the city funicular line. By the funicular you will come to the viewpoint at the summit of the mountain Floien. After 30min free time at the viewpoint you will return back to the lower station. WHAT TO EXPECT

Byfjorden (Pass by)

Byfjorden (the Cityfjord), with its water depths ranging from about 5 to 350 meters frames the city of Bergen along its waterfront. It is also a natural landmark, visible from much of the city as it is situated between the seven mountains that encircle Bergen. The 15-kilometre (9.3 mi) long fjord separates the island of Askøy from the mainland Bergen, passing right north of the city of Bergen on the mainland.

Salhusfjorden (Pass by)

The 4 kilometer long and up to 500 meter deep Salhusfjord is located between Bergen and Alver Municipality. The fjord is crossed by the Nordhordland Bridge. The fjord takes its name from the village area of Salhus. In the early 12th century there was an inn located there, known at the time as a sáluhus. It acted as a transport hub for Nordhordland, and was a small market town. It was one of the first industrialized places when a hosiery manufacturer was established here in 1859.

Nordhordlandsbrua (Pass by)

The Nordhordland Bridge is an impressive landmark just north of Bergen, carrying the coastal road across the wide Salhusfjord. Opened in 1994, it combines a slender cable-stayed span with a long floating section, making it one of the worlds most distinctive bridge designs. As you cross, the scenery opens into sweeping views of fjords, mountains and islandsclassic Western Norway at its best. Osterfjorden (Pass by)

The Osterfjord is one of three fjords surrounding the island of Osterøy. The fjord runs along the municipal border of Lindås and Osterøy municipalities. The fjord begins at the Romarheimsfjorden and flows to the west for 27 kilometres (17 mi) before ending near the village of Knarvik at the confluence of four fjords: Osterfjorden, Radfjorden (to the north), Sørfjorden (to the south), and Salhusfjorden (to the west). The Osterfjorden is generally about 1 to 3 kilometres (0.62 to 1.86 mi) wide and the deepest point in the fjord reaches a depth of 639 metres (2,096 ft) below sea level

Mostraumen (Pass by)

Canalized river with tidal water deep into the Osterfjord. The stream is about 600 metres long and between 50 and 60 meters wide at the most narrow place. Mostraumen was canalized (dredged) about 1913.

We pick you up from your hotel with our VIP car, and go towards Norheimsund, in the Hardanger-fjord region. On the way we stop by two waterfalls: Fossen Bratte, and Steinsdalsfossen, the last one you can walk behind.

We continue to Norheimsund, and change over to our boat, M/Y Iselina Bella, a Princess 50.

From Norheimsund we cruise into the narrow, remote and undiscovered pristine Fyksesund fjord, which is only accessible by boat. We stay in here for a couple of hours, just to enjoy the silence in the nice nature, between the steep mountains, with waterfalls directly down to the fjord. You can have a drink from the waterfalls if you like, a shower under them, or a swim in the fjord.

When then cruise back to Norheimsund for lunch at Thon Hotel Sandven, or even better: The small family run Spilde apple farm, with possibilities for cider tasting as well as lunch.

Then we cross the magnificent Hardanger fiord in a ferry and keep on driving until we reach P3 Mågelitopp in Skjeggedal which is our starting point towards Trolltunga. It takes between 6 to 8 hours in average to reach the Trolltunga rock formation. We have lunch at this top, take the necessary pictures and prepare to walk back to the vehicle. Once back to the vehicle after the 20km hike and if time permits it, we will bring you to Låtefossen which is a breathtaking waterfall for more amazing pics. After this vist we will drive the same way back to Bergen.

itinerary:
1. Departure from Bergen: We will pick you up at 5:45 AM. Please make sure to be ready a few minutes early to avoid any delays.
2. Quick Stop at Steindalsfossen: During our drive, we will make a brief stop at Steindalsfossen, a picturesque waterfall, for a chance to take some memorable pictures.
3. Upon arriving at the Trolltunga trailhead, we will drive up to Mågelitopp parking lot.
4. Trolltunga Hike: The highlight of our tour is the Trolltunga hike, which will take approximately 8 to 10 hours to complete. Please ensure that you are physically fit and adequately prepared for this challenging trek. We recommend the following items: a warm hat, sturdy hiking boots, woolen undies, water/windproof jacket and pants, and a backpack to carry your essentials. Well provide you with hiking poles if necessary.
5. Låtefossen: If time allows, we will make a stop at Låtefossen on our return to Bergen.
