Our first stop on this tour by Tartan Tours Scotland is at Bannockburn, the sight of the famous Battle of Bannockburn in 1314. Robert The Bruce led the Scottish Army to victory over The English Army led by King Edward.The Bannockburn visitor centre allows visitors to experience the landscape of the battlefield, and see the magnificent statue of Robert The Bruce. If you would like an afternoon filled with magic, surrounded by enthralling scenery, like youre jaws drops at every turn and feel like the mountains came close to you and each one is telling you a story of the past, this is the Experience youre looking for.
Ill drive you through some amazing landscapes, first on the shores of Loch Lomond, where youll notice the calmness about the water, surrounded by lush forests and magnificent mountains in the background.
We will stop for a break in a beautiful park, where you can walk down to the shore and just breath in the views.

3: Glencoe

Well continue our journey along the shores of Loch Lomond through the lush hills and once we get to the foot of Glencoe, youll know you have arrived. These mountains are so different of what you have seen before. They are big but inviting, might seem bare but very colourful and rich in nature. Its like walking into a different world, where valleys and hills, rock formations and waterfalls are in perfect harmony with each other. It doesnt matter the weather, rain or shine, this place will charm you and have a lasting impression on you.
Well stop at some beautiful lookouts where you can take the most amazing photos to take home to cherish every memory of what youve seen.

Well go and walk around a bit near some waterfalls as well so you can have a close encounter with this place.

One special stop will be at the grounds of this newly renovated hotel in the middle of the Highlands, where you can see deer roaming free and you might even have a chance to feed one if they are close bye.

Stirling Castle is one of Scotlands most historically important sites and was once a favoured residence of the Stewart kings and queens.

Today you can meet the costumed characters in the roles of bodyguards, court officials, maids of honour and servants who will welcome you into 16th century life.

3: Stirling Bridge

Heading out of Stirling to The National Wallace Monument you will pass Stirling Old Bridge.

Although the original timber bridge from the famous 1297 Battle of Stirling Bridge no longer exists, Stirling Old Bridge stands just downstream.

Steeped in history, Old Stirling Bridge was built in the late 1400s or early 1500s by Murdoch, Duke of Albany.

One of its arches was blown up by General Blackney in 1745 in an attempt to prevent Bonnie Prince Charlies Highlanders from crossing the River Forth.

The Westerton Arms is a family run pub and restaurant in the heart of Bridge of Allan which lies in the shadow of The Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and Stirling Bridge.

The restaurant is renowned locally for good food, using local suppliers and produce where possible and only scotch beef, lamb and pork with fresh fish and vegetables delivered daily.

Enjoy a full stadium tour and 3-course meal in the Number 7 restaurant.
Your tour with include a visit to the home team dressing room and Celtic FC Boardroom before walking in the footsteps of legends down the tunnel, sitting in the dugout and taking in the atmosphere pitchside. Following your tour you will be taken to the restaurant where you will dine from the 3 course menu. Please note the time of your restaurant booking will be 1.5 hours after the time of your tour booking.
Please be aware that as Celtic Park is a working stadium, The Tour route is subject to availability, cancellation and alteration at short notice and certain parts of the stadium may be inaccessible to Stadium Tours without notice being given. Car access to the stadium is via Janefield Street off Springfield Road, please drive under the North stand and bear left parking in the car park near to the Superstore.

WHAT TO EXPECT
We're going on a trip around Scotland's countryside, where we leave the noisy cities behind and drive by some really cute villages, where you feel like you stepped back in time, then it's just raw nature with lush forests and meadows, old fashioned stone bridges and walls, friendly sheep and horses giving you a farewell.

After admiring all these beautiful scenery, we get to a place where we continue our journey on foot. We get on a footpath that is barely visible from all the lush vegetation and flowers and keep going until we gaze into the distance and see this amazing waterfalls far away, surrounded by greenery and majestic rock formations.

We keep going until we start hearing the rumbling sound of the water and suddenly the entire gorge and waterfalls cascading down one after the other, enfold as a mesmerising picture in front of us.

Once we arrive to the place, we roam around to discover the hidden parts, where we can take in the views and even go on an adventure, climbing down the rocks and take the best photos of the place, that we can even show our grandkids in the future, while telling them about a Fairytale when we went to visit Scotland.

The Palace of Holyroodhouse The official residence of the King in Scotland. Open throughout the year, the Palace of Holyroodhouse stands at the end of Edinburgh's Royal Mile.
