La Couronne (Pass by)

After meeting at the La Couronne Wines (Robertsvlei Rd) in the Franschhoek Village - your guide will assist you in understanding your e-bike as well as adjusting the seat post and handing out helmets, your E-bike tour will then start as we cycle through breath taking scenery, while avoiding the main roads. You will visit 2 - 3 wine farms.

You will have time to take pictures as we admire the Franschhoek Village and surrounding mountain from different angles. You will also cycle through vineyards and working farms while your guide give you insight on the history of this cultural rich town.

This is the official starting point of our tour is at the Franschhoek Rent n Bicycle, no 9 Fabriek Street, Franschhoek. You also may come to park your car here safely. Please arrive 5 minutes before the tour starts so that we can provide you with the correct sized bike, and helmet and also follow protocol. The tour will start with a briefing of the tour with your wine guide for the day. This point is also the end point of the tour. The bike tour goes through private wineries and vineyards and away from traffic and main roads.

This perfect family-friendly adventure offers an exhilarating way to tour Franschhoeks world-famous vineyards by big-wheel scooter (aka monster scooters). If you can ride a bike, you can ride a monster scooter. And if youve got small kids, thats OK too, because theres room enough for them to safely stand in front of you and ride tandem. Depart from the Huguenot Monument then visit two wineries to take in the scenery while cruising down gently rolling hills.
