After a short boat trip out to sea, we will begin to attract the sharks and the divers will get in the cage. No snorkeling or diving experience is required.

We are very often visited by our bronze whaler sharks and cape fur seals. Less frequent sightings include short-tail stingrays, sunfish, sevengill sharks and the great white shark. We often see southern right whales on the boat trip as well (depending on the season).

You will need at least an Open Water One diving qualification to dive on scuba in the cage. Scuba divers are required to produce their in date dive card. Unqualified divers may breath hold or snorkel in the cage. Your own safety is our concern and surface viewing from the boat is truly spectacular as the Great White is a surface feeder.
The cage is a floating, drifting cage. Four divers enter the cage at any one time. A fifth person can be accommodated, however we prefer to allow the diver comfortable space to move freely. Scuba is available on request and is only given to qualified divers.
Our tours depart twice daily off-season (May-October), and up to three times daily in-season (November-April). The duration of the trip will be approximately 3,5 hours on sea.
We offer silver service and UNLIMITED, quality cage dive time. We offer a full educational on the Great White so that you come away learning about this awesome, apex predator. We do not harm or feed the sharks on our tours. From here we commence our 900-meter scenic eco-tour up the world renowned Swartberg Pass. At the summit of the Swartberg Pass (1 580 meter above sea level) you will enjoy a scenic walk on this National monument.
The Pass has a gravel surface and was constructed by renowned road engineer, Thomas Bain over a 4-year period and opened on 10 January 1888. From the top of the Swartberg Pass you will enjoy picture perfect panoramic views over the Klein- and Great Karoo. The dry-stone technique used to construct the pass required extreme manual labour and is as solid as it was when constructed 127 years ago.
You can enjoy an optional scenic walk on a hiking trail exploring the spectacular Sandstone formations dating back more than 300 million years. Feasting your eyes on the full splendor of diverse fynbos species ranging from various protea species as well as cone bush and pin cushions will accentuate he need for conservation of our natural resources and habitats. You may even spot a soaring Verreaux Eagle, Jackal Buzzard or any of the many species of Sunbirds feasting on the nectar of the proteas. The agility of the Klipspringer (small antelope) over the rugged sandstone formations will astound you.
The tranquility and serenity of this unique experience reflects the essence of a bygone era where wagons and riders on horseback was a familiar sight.
At the summit (Die Top) of the Swartberg Pass we learn about the Social and conservation initiatives pioneered by the members of the H.O.P.E. Foundation. At 1 350m above mean sea level we enjoy a leisure walk on the Pass before we return towards Oudtshoorn for lunch.

Upon arrival in Gansbaai, you will be served a delectable breakfast whilst you listen to the all-important safety briefing. After eating, you will be taken on a short walk to the Kleinbaai Harbour, just 3 minutes away, to board the boat.
Once the boat has anchored, the crew will immediately begin to chum the water with products such as tuna and fish out to attract the Great Whites. When the first shark has been sighted, kit up, slip into the cage and get ready to be captivated, and experience the magnificence of these animals up close and personal. For those who arent into cage diving, the sharks can also be viewed from the boat, and this is often just a good, or even a better viewpoint.
You will also be treated to drinks and snacks on board to keep the hunger pangs away and allow you to focus your full attention of the Great Whites.

Meet your guides and small group of no more than 10, and get a safety briefing and instructions. Then, grab a wetsuit, life vest, helmet, and harness, and make the 5-minute drive to the canyon, an ancient river gorge that winds through indigenous forests. Your adventure will be fully guided by two qualified and registered Canyon Adventure Guides.
Start with your first abseil (rappel), dropping deep into the gorge. Then, set off to hike and swim through the ravines freshwater pools and streams. When you arrive at the confluence of two rivers, choose to make an exciting jump from the cliffs or perform an abseil into the waterfall below.
Continue swimming and hiking alongside the river until you reach The Rush, an 82-foot (25-meter) waterfall. Here, take an abseil through the cascades into the pool below an unforgettable experience. Then, continue swimming through the river shallows before making a last, optional cliff jump into the waters.

Once youre geared up, youre ready to go. Follow your guide and group into a car for a quick 5-minute drive to the beginning of your canyoning trip through a natural indigenous forest. Take a short walk before you rappel into the canyon.
Moving on, its your choice whether youd like to swim or hike between your stops. Arrive at a confluence after a short while. Now, its time for your first adrenaline rush of the trip. You can either jump off the cliff into the water below or rappel again with help from your guide.
After some more swimming (or hiking), come to the top of an 82-foot (25-meter) waterfall. Rappel down the waterfall until you touch the water below. Your guide snaps pictures of you all along the way that are available for purchase at the end of your trip (own expense).
Your last heart-pounding undertaking happens at a 98-foot (30-meter) waterfall, one of the biggest falls youll see in the area. Zip line from the top of the waterfall and splash into the water below.
