WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Dive Club Ocean Trek

At the beginning you try on your diving suit and check your diving equipment. Then you plan your dives together with your personal instructor.
If you wish, we can also do a short theoretical and practical review with the most important exercises.

Depending on your diving experience most of the dives are between 12-30 meters depth. If you haven't dived for a longer period of time we usually recommend a simple dive site up to 12 meters where you can see many fish and the interesting volcanic underwater world. We can plan the further dive individually at short notice.

Depending on your air consumption the dives usually last between 40-60 minutes. In between we take a break of about 45 minutes. With arrival and departure you can count on about 4-6 hours for the day. Depending on the dive sites we go to.

Departing at 15:30 we leave puerto rico harbour and sail along the south west coast of Gran Canaria, along the way youll be able to see all of the different beachs, caves, villages etc that this side of the island has to offer. We do two swim stops where youll have the chance to swim, snorkel, use our kayaks and stand up padel boards, all free of charge, theres also jet ski and parasailing available at extra cost. WHAT TO EXPECT

This private activity with reduced group, let you enjoy the experience without waiting for long time. We will start the activity in one of most amazing areas of the island. We have several options to do canyoning in Gran Canaria: dry or aquatic canyons.

Aquatic Canyon: We will move for a fresh green forest, with local vegetable species following the water course. We will tell you how to rappel to enjoy the waterfall abseilling.

Dry Canyon: We will start with and exciting hiking, but our goal is to arrive to the canyon to abseiling with ropes (9 meters maximum rappel). You can enjoy and learn about geology looking the different layers of volcanic lava in the walls.

For us, safety is really important, so our Certifed Guides will belay you and supervise you always. After all the rappels, we will rest a bit in this wonderful place and then we will come back enjoying an adventure trail.

We start the route heading north to visit Arucas, a small town famous for its large expanses of banana plantations and its production of sugar cane, considered "white gold" in past centuries. See the Neo-Gothic church of Iglesia de San Juan with its Gaudi-esque spires as well as cultural sights such as the local rum distillery and banana farm. You can´t miss a stroll through its neoclassical streets and a visit to the Neogothic church of St. John.

We will move to the valley of the Berrazales, in Agaete. This place is very rich in tropical fruits, wines and coffee, the only plantation in Europe. Canarian lunch en route. This route will lead us through fertile valleys across the island from the suth to the north. During the route we will see vast fields of almond, trees and crops. We continue to Valleseco where we stop for lunch (Not incl). Then, we will go to the Cruz de Tejeda, from where we will be able to photograph the Roque Nublo (Symbol of Gran Canaria). We sailed for two and a half hours in the southwest of the island looking for cetaceans for observation. A boat specifically designed for the sighting of these formidable marine mammals, with perfect visibility for passengers, including underwater viewing windows. Captain Ivan Lopez, a certified cetacean watching professional, has been captaining our ship Spirit of the Sea for 15 years, always showing deep respect for these animals, their natural habitat and habits.

During the excursion, passengers receive all kinds of details about the animals we encounter, as well as their habits of living, feeding, mating, etc. Customers also have a QR code with additional information about each type of dolphin or whale that sails through the Canary Islands. Our crew consists of professionals with knowledge of the history and environment of cetaceans.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Flyboarding consists in a board placed beneath the feet which has two water jets that push out water downwards under pressure allowing you to fly above the water, do pirouettes or submerge yourself.

It is fully stable in the air and easy to use. The propulsion system collects water through a turbine and expels it under high pressure through a hose allowing propulsion to happen. This mechanism is controlled by the monitor from the jet-ski.

Water pressure is controlled by a trigger wirelessly connected to the jet-ski. The pilot is in control of all movement.

Balance yourself, maintain body control and youll be able do pirouettes, move yourself and dare to do a 360 turn. The only requirement is being able to swim. Theres no physical strength involved but simply body balance and the will to have fun.
