WHAT TO EXPECT

During the Surf day, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Famara in half an hour, from here you go down to the beach with the material, and the theory begins, then warm up and then practice. your instructor will stay in the water with you, that's what makes the difference in what we offer,he will be attentive to your safety, close to each of you, he will push you to take the first waves, and he will guide you to make you learn as much as possible. then there will be a short break (no 1 hour), 10 minutes more or less for offer you some water and give some more suggestions, if necessary. After the time is up (sometimes it ends earlier because people get very tired and we ask you if you want to continue or stop) when we all agree on what to do,

Always wanted to learn diving? Sign up for the world's most wanted entry-level course. Become a fully certified PADI Open Water Diver and experience four dives in the Atlantic Ocean of Lanzarote. Take the plunge and explore the planet from below the surface. You should be 10 years or older, and adequate swimmer and fit to dive. There is no prior experience required.

What will you learn?
Through Knowledge Development sessions (eLearning, 6-8 hours independent self -study) you will learn the basic principles and safety standards of scuba diving. Study five chapters of the Open Water Diver Course and complete the final exam via PADI eLearning prior to course start.
During the confined water sessions you will practice and master the required scuba diving skills in shallow water and get comfortable. In the four Open Water Dives you will use your previous learned skills and explore the underwater world.

Ideal to enjoy the incredible views we have on the island. A specific boat for the activity is in charge of lifting the parachute up to a height of 100 meters from the platform of the boat. The activity can be done
individual or in the Tandem modality (special bar for 2 and 3 people at
the time).
The flight lasts 10 minutes.
The boat has a capacity of up to 12 people, which means that the activity can last between 40 and 50 minutes (it all depends on how many we are), since we must wait until everyone has finished to return to land, so don't forget your cap , since in addition to enjoying the adventure of being able to see the island from the sky, you will take a pleasant and refreshing walk along the coast.
Requirements:
Individual parascending: 100 kg.
Double parascending: 160 kg maximum between the two.

- Meet your Instructor in Playa Chica, Puerto del Carmen
- Try and organize equipment and complete paperwork
- Instructor briefing, explanation of equipment use and marine life, gearing up
- Start in shallow water and perform a skills sessions get relaxed and comfortable with breathing underwater
- Once comfortable we will then go for a dive around the reef and explore the incredible underwater scenery of Lanzarote

The dive sites we choose for the Discover Scuba Diving are perfect for beginners and easy to enter from shore.

Have fun and enjoy the plunge. But watch out, you might fall in love with diving as we did!

Diving requires certain weather conditions. In the unlikely event the activity should be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.

Prohibited to fly/go to altitude >300m for for 12h after one dive or 18h after two dives!

You have to be medically fit for diving. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions might prevent you from diving (no asthma, heart problems or other serious conditions). Please consult your doctor.
