Our goal is to catch the northern lights, learn more about nature, local culture, and visit the famous Abisko. Outside the window, we see the stars, and if we are lucky, a hint of green auroras in the sky.
1.5 hours later, we are there for a three-course dinner down in the village of Abisko. We talk about nature, Sami culture, northern lights, and local history. We can never guarantee that we will see the aurora, but if the weather is good after dinner, we will take a walk in the Abisko area to experience the landscape and look for the northern lights. Our local guides are trained photo guides, so if you bring your camera, we will help you take photos.

I welcome you to my home, to meet my reindeer. I will tell you everything you want to know about my reindeer and you will also get the chance to feed them. If there is a snowstorm, I will teach you more about the weather and how we protect ourselves.
We start the tour in the village of Jukkasjärvi with a 25-minute snowmobile ride out to the camp, far away from city life and noise. There you will meet our reindeer, and can take a classic reindeer sleigh ride. We pick you up from central Kiruna and drive you to our kennels just 10-15 minutes out of town. Arriving at the kennels you are provided with premium quality arctic outerwear to keep you warm. This includes, parka jacket, insulated trousers, arctic Sorel boots and mittens. We have kit available in most children and adult sizes.
To start the tour you will be divided into groups of 4 adults on each sled (max. 5p in family groups).
Then the fun begins! We set off winding our way through the forest and across frozen lakes on trails away from the main tourist areas. If lucky you might see moose or reindeer. Half way through the tour we stop for a warming drink and homemade cake at our Lavvu (tipi tent). This is a great time to meet the dogs up close and have a cuddle. Our guides are knowledgable on the local area and about our huskies and you are welcome to ask them questions.
