After the city walking tour, we will continue with a journey to the local little mountain Uetliberg or Felsenegg to experience a short aerial cable car ride and to enjoy breathtaking views. This is a popular recreational area for the locals living in and around Zurich and offers incredible views overlooking Zurich, the lake and the snow-capped Alps. We will experience a short hike on a special trail called "Planetweg" which represents our solar system on a reduced scale and will enjoy the fresh air of the beautiful forest before heading back to Zurich by boat.

After the city tour and the visit of the local little mountain, we are heading back to Zurich by boat. WHAT TO EXPECT
Hop aboard your minivan or coach in Zurich in the morning. Then, meet your guide and travel out of the city into the beautiful Jungfrau region. With towering snow-capped peaks and deep forest-covered valleys, the Jungfrau is considered by many locals and visitors alike to be among Switzerlands most beautiful Alpine regions.

As you travel, take in fine views over Switzerlands rugged countryside. Listen as your guide shares details about the areas geology and heritage, then arrive in comfort in the traditional Swiss ski resort of Grindelwald.

Visit the ski hire shop in town and kit yourself out with skis and safety equipment. Then, head to the rolling beginner slopes in nearby Bodmi, nestled beneath the might north face of Eiger Mountain.

During your 2.5-hour class, watch your instructor demonstrate the correct skiing technique and practise your turns in safety and comfort. There will be a maximum of 8 people in your group. WHAT TO EXPECT

Greet your guide at a central Zurich location and climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes minibus destined for Bern. Get acquainted with the rich history of the region and admire the scenic Entlebuch Valley as you pass through the UNESCO-listed Biosphere Reserve.

At the end of your tour, sample some of the deliciously nutty cheese. Make your own way to a central Zurich location and board a comfortable minibus destined for the rural mountains of the region. Receive an introduction to Swiss cuisine from your guide and admire the countryside as you travel along the Sihl River.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Depart from a centrally located pickup point in Zurich and relax during the scenic journey to Engelberg in a luxurious air-conditioned coach. Hear captivating tales about the history and tradition of the village as you drive and feel your excitement heighten as you approach the enchanting enclave cradled by the Swiss Alps.

On arrival, disembark to enjoy some leisurely free time (approximately 3 hours) for independent exploration, without your guide. Visit the renowned Benedictine monastery that dominates the quaint village center, venturing inside to see Switzerlands largest organ. Stroll the charming streets and revitalize with local delicacies in a restaurant or café (own expense) and then reconvene with your guide for the return journey to Zurich.

On the way back, stop at Lucerne for one hour to explore that captivating city at your leisure, and then relax during the remainder of the journey back to the original departure point in Zurich.

An excursion to the ever popular summer and winter resort in the heart of Central Switzerland. Engelberg (Angel Mountain) was originally founded by the Benedictines, and the imposing monastery dominates the center of the village. The Baroque style monastery church, which houses the largest organ in Switzerland, is open for visits to the public. Enjoy a 2 - 3 hour independent stay in this lovely mountain village to relax or stroll.

Meet your tour guide in the afternoon and enjoy the drive to Lucerne, where you will have a stop for approx. 1 hour before returning to Zurich.

At the valley station the breath-taking journey with the different aerial cable cars to the top of Mt. Titlis, located on 3'000 m.a.s.l., begins. Enjoy the spectacular sight of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders from the revolving cable car Rotair. At the top of Mt. Titlis a high alpine panorama awaits you. Enjoy magnificent views of the Alps from the restaurants or the sun terrace. Visit the Glacier Cave and pass over Europe's highest suspension bridge - the Cliff Walk! Take a ride with the Ice Flyer which brings you close to the crevasses and the Glacier Park where you can experience snow tubing even in summer!
