We pick you up from the main street closest to your hotel around 09:30 am and move towards Çaml Bay, where we will board our boat. This bus / minibus journey will be approximately 30 minutes.

The point where our boat is located. After all our transfer vehicles arrive, our boat departs at 10:00 am and we set out towards Cleopatra Island (Sedir Island).

Step aboard your comfortable boat and admire the views as you leave land behind and cut over the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Gökova to Cleopatra Island.

2: Sedir Island

We anchor at the island around 10:30 am. Our guests who wish can purchase the entrance ticket to Cleopatra beach, which is offered for sale on our boat. Guests who do not want to go to the beach can spend time on our boat. We stay on the island for two and a half hours. You can visit many ancient city ruins or swim and sunbathe on the magnificent Cleopatra beach. We leave the island around 12:30 - 13:00 and set off again with our boat.
One of a trio, this famous islet (also known as Sedir Island) is home to a beach where, according to legend, Egypts pharaoh queen, Cleopatra, bathed with her lover Mark Anthony, sometime in the 2nd century BC. The story goes that Anthony ordered the sands from Egypt as a gift to his mistress a tale perhaps borne out by the present-day sand. Made up of tiny, smooth seashells, its of a type that typically only hails from the Red Sea.

We approach the magnificent sandy beach where the caretta carettas nest, get on the small boat from our big boat and move into the canal.

3: Lycian Rock Tombs

During the cruise, we see the historical Rock Tombs and our guide gives brief information.
The temple tombs what we see today are the remnants of the Kaunos necropolis that once had over 170 rock-cut graves. The tombs mostly date back to mid 4th century BC and have influences of Anatolian, Greek and Persian elements. Although the tombs are inaccessible now, their imposing sight (seen best from across the Dalyan River or even sitting in a boat in this river) is a memorable one. You can see these sights depicted on covers of tourist guides, travel brochures and even in some TV documentaries.

4: Dalyan Mud Bath

The mud baths in Dalyan are rich in sulphur and contain minerals that soothe and rejuvenate your skin. Regular treatments can tighten up the skin, erase wrinkles and its said to be that the mud baths in Dalyan will make you look younger by 10 years! After having a mud bath in these pools, you wait for some time until the mud is dried down and now its time to clean off the mud pack at the hot springs. There are showers facilities near the mud baths, toilets and a cafeteria.

Iztuzu Beach; We take a swimming break for about 50 minutes at this beach.

This full day boat trip promises to take you towards the most stunning and graceful spots of Gokova Bay. The island is listed as a National Conservation Area due to the pristine setting that has and its unique natural beauty. According to the local legend, Antony gifted this picturesque island to Cleopatra as a symbol of love. However, even though the island is beautiful, Cleopatra did not like the sand that the beach had. As a result, Antony carried sand from Egypt in order to make her happy. Once you reach the island, you will have 3 hours to spend as you wish. The beach is spectacular with crystal clear waters and pale pink sands. Cleopatra Beach is under government protection and visitors are not allowed to take sand with them. It is even forbidden to spread your towels out on the beach as the sand will stick to them.

Legend has it that the pale pink sand on this beach was brought by ships from North Africa to please Cleopatra. Apparently this type of sand only exists in Egypt and Mark Anthony sent it here because Cleopatra was nostalgic and homesick. In the eastern part of this magnificent island there is an agora where, according to inscriptions, sporting festivals were organized.

Your Cleopatra Island adventure begins with an expedient pickup at your central Marmaris hotel. Strap into an air-conditioned vehicle that will shuttle you to the bay where your boat promptly departs. Brace yourself for a journey to Cleopatra Island, where it is said the Egyptian queen bathed with Mark Anthony in the 2nd century BC. The sands on the island are a kind of smooth small shells typically only found at the Red Sea. Rumore has it Mark Anthony had them sent to this island for Cleopatras pleasure.

Onboard the cruise, kick back and soak up the views of the turquoise gulf Gulf of Gökova. En route to the island, enjoy two pit stops where you can take a dip into the tranquil Aegean waters. Fuel up with lunch on the sunny deck (drinks at own expense). See the Itinerary for a sample menu.

Then, dock at Cleopatra Island, where you can spend your 3.5 hours however you like. Swim or snorkel in the cerulean waters, stroll the olive orchards, lounge on the warm sands, and explore the nearby Roman ruins. A beach bungalow serves light provisions and refreshments (own expense) as well as sunbeds.

After your 3.5 hours has passed, relax on the boat ride back to Marmaris, with one more swim stop on the way back. Your tour concludes with a convenient drop-off at your central Marmaris hotel.

We pick you up from the main street closest to your hotel around 09:30 am and move towards Çaml Bay, where we will board our boat. This bus / minibus journey will be approximately 30 minutes.

The point where our boat is located. After all our transfer vehicles arrive, our boat departs at 10:00 am and we set out towards Cleopatra Island (Sedir Island).

2: Sedir Island

We anchor at the island around 10:30 am. Our guests who wish can purchase the entrance ticket to Cleopatra beach, which is offered for sale on our boat. Guests who do not want to go to the beach can spend time on our boat. We stay on the island for two and a half hours. You can visit many ancient city ruins or swim and sunbathe on the magnificent Cleopatra beach. We leave the island around 12:30 - 13:00 and set off again with our boat.
One of a trio, this famous islet (also known as Sedir Island) is home to a beach where, according to legend, Egypts pharaoh queen, Cleopatra, bathed with her lover Mark Anthony, sometime in the 2nd century BC. The story goes that Anthony ordered the sands from Egypt as a gift to his mistress a tale perhaps borne out by the present-day sand. Made up of tiny, smooth seashells, its of a type that typically only hails from the Red Sea.

The thermal mud baths at Sultaniye add more fun to this trip. They may smell bad because of the sulfur dissolved in the water, but playing and bathing in these mud baths is good for your health. Its said that mud-bathing here makes you look 10 years younger! After a joyful mud bath, you can use the showers to clean yourself and have some refreshments at the cafeteria nearby. Lunch will be served on our boat after the mud baths.

This is a protected beach as it is one of the last known breeding grounds for the endangered species of Loggerhead Turtles. Some areas on the beach are closed for human entry. The Turtle Beach is regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. If they are lucky enough, you might see the turtles swim or pass by.

During the cruise, we see the historical Rock Tombs and our guide gives brief information.
The temple tombs what we see today are the remnants of the Kaunos necropolis that once had over 170 rock-cut graves. The tombs mostly date back to mid 4th century BC and have influences of Anatolian, Greek and Persian elements. Although the tombs are inaccessible now, their imposing sight (seen best from across the Dalyan River or even sitting in a boat in this river) is a memorable one. You can see these sights depicted on covers of tourist guides, travel brochures and even in some TV documentaries.

4: Dalyan Mud Bath

The mud baths in Dalyan are rich in sulphur and contain minerals that soothe and rejuvenate your skin. Regular treatments can tighten up the skin, erase wrinkles and its said to be that the mud baths in Dalyan will make you look younger by 10 years! After having a mud bath in these pools, you wait for some time until the mud is dried down and now its time to clean off the mud pack at the hot springs. There are showers facilities near the mud baths, toilets and a cafeteria.

4: Sultaniye Thermals and Mud Baths

The thermal mud baths at Sultaniye add more fun to this trip. They may smell bad because of the sulfur dissolved in the water, but playing and bathing in these mud baths is good for your health. Its said that mud-bathing here makes you look 10 years younger! After a joyful mud bath, you can use the showers to clean yourself and have some refreshments at the cafeteria nearby. Lunch will be served on our boat after the mud baths.

The Turtle Beach is regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. If they are lucky enough, you might see the turtles swim or pass by.
