Pay a visit to Margaritaville. Located on Seven Mile beach, this iconic cafe known for its locations around the world can be found nestled in between Resorts. This is a fun for all ages place with beach chairs for rent, daily catamaran cruises, and inflatable water trampolines, and obstacle courses.
Discover Blue Hole: Negril. There are technically two Blue Holes in Jamaica. This one in particular is located just a short drive into the mountains from Negril. Descend down the ladder or jump 25 Feet into this 35-foot-deep natural spring pool! Once at the bottom, swim in mineral and limestone-rich waters or have a mineral-filled mud massage from one of the employees. If you don’t feel like getting into the cave, they also fill a swimming pool up each day with the natural spring water to enjoy. There is a bar and restaurant onsite as well.
Visit Rick’s Cafe. No visit to Negril is complete without a stop at the iconic Rick’s Café. Perched atop rugged cliffs overlooking the turquoise waters below, this legendary hotspot offers stunning views and a lively atmosphere. Jump into the beautiful blue waters and swim in a sheltered cove, or sip on tropical drinks while watching the daring divers jump from 80 feet above sea level! This dangerous activity is performed by local divers who have spent years learning the art and honing skills. To encourage divers to jump from any one of the five different dive points, visitors of Rick’s donate money. If you don’t mind crowds, head to Rick’s for dinner and watch the sunset. This is known to be one of the best places to catch the sunset on the island.
Go Rafting On Martha Brae River. Martha Brae River is about a 2 hour drive from Negril and would make a great day adventure! The tour of the river lasts about 1.5 hours of relaxing on a bamboo raft as a guide maneuvers down the river. The guide will share stories about the area, some history, and offer a chance for you to get out and swim in the river.
Lethe River Bamboo Rafting is another alternative option. This river is more of a hidden gem with less crowds. This also involves being taken on a Bamboo Raft down a beautiful river, and Lethe River is only an hour away from Negril, making it a much closer alternative to Martha Brae.
Take a Catamaran Cruise. This is the perfect way to enjoy the water and coastline of Jamaica. There are several companies that offer various tours with different stops. For an unforgettable evening, take a cruise down the Caribbean Sea as the sun dips below the horizon. Many boat excursions offer refreshing drinks, dancing with lively music, and delicious dinner options for a perfect sunset soirée.

The coastline is dotted with a variety of bars and lounges, offering everything from relaxed beachfront spots to vibrant reggae clubs with lively dance floors. Beyond the traditional nightlife options, Negril offers unique entertainment experiences, ensuring there’s something to suit every taste.
One popular destination is Rick’s Café, where many gather at sunset to witness the atmosphere shift. Perhaps the most captivating part of a visit to Rick’s is the rare sight of the "green flash," a fleeting burst of bright green light visible on clear evenings. While there’s scientific backing behind this phenomenon, locals believe those lucky enough to witness it are destined for lifelong love. In addition to the stunning sunset views, Rick’s Café offers traditional reggae music, creative cocktails, and live music events that keep the energy high, especially on weekend nights when the party really gets going.
For a more adventurous nightlife experience, Floyd’s Pelican Bar is another must-visit. Located off the south coast in a neighboring parish, it requires a boat ride to reach, but the journey is well worth it. Once there, visitors are welcomed with unparalleled hospitality. Floyd’s is a floating hut-like structure in the middle of the ocean, offering breathtaking views and a truly unique vibe. Guests can even carve their names into the wood for a small donation, leaving a lasting mark on this iconic spot.
It’s worth noting that Negril’s nightlife varies throughout the week, with different venues offering something new every night.
