Baja California


Baja California is a peninsula made up of two Mexican states, Baja California (Norte) and Baja California Sur. The peninsula is made up of mountains that stretch for the length of the peninsula, with the elevation rapidly falling down from these mountains to the coastal plains. Baja California is known for such tourist centers as Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo (Los Cabos), Todos Santos, Loreto, Tijuana, Rosarito, and Mexicali.
