The most defining feature of Speightstown is the 17th century pre-colonial architecture. You will get to visit and learn the stories behind historic buildings that date back to the early settlements as you experience the sense of development that has taken place in the town which is evident by the integration of modern architecture. With forts lining the coasts of Barbados, one would expect that Little Bristol would also have its share of protection.

Board a spacious schooner designed to carry up to 50 guests but limited to 36 for added comfort and room to relax. Settle into a shaded seat or stretch out in the sun as the crew prepares to depart.
Sail along Barbadoss scenic west coast, taking in views of palm-lined beaches and clear Caribbean waters.
Stop at a coral reef to snorkel in warm, shallow water. As you swim, keep watch for sea turtles and colorful tropical fish. Back on board, cruise onward to a nearby shipwreck that has become a vibrant marine habitat. Jump in again for a second snorkeling session to explore the wreck and the life that now surrounds it.
After time on the water, return to the Bridgetown harbor and meet your transfer for the ride back to your hotel.1: El Tigre Catamaran Sailing CruisesAfter hotel pickup, head to the marina in Bridgetown to board your catamaran, El Tigre, a 60-foot-long (18-meter) and 24-foot-wide (7-meter) schooner thats big enough to carry 50 passengers but is limited to 36 per cruise to provide more space. The boat offers both shady and uncovered areas so you can choose to sit wherever youll be more comfortable.

While you sail, just relax, sipping a cup of coffee or a glass of juice, rum punch or beer, and enjoy a slice of coconut bread.Admission Ticket Included2: BarbadosMake your way to your first snorkeling spot, where you should be able to see sea turtles. Spend 45 minutes snorkeling, and then hop back on board the boat to sail to your second snorkeling location, a shipwreck that has become a habitat for many tropical fish. If you choose the 3-hour option, youll then be dropped off at a west coast beach, where your cruise ends. Your transportation will be waiting for you at this beach to return to your hotel.
If you select the 5-hour option, continue along the west coast to a third location, where youll stop to enjoy lunch onboard the boat. Then hop in the water to cool off, swimming up to the nearby beach, if you wish, for a stroll along the sand. Back on board, enjoy a cocktail and listen to soca a style of Caribbean calypso music while the boat returns you to the marina in Bridgetown, where your cruise ends.

Harrison's Cave
At the heart of Barbados lies one of its greatest wonders, Harrisons Cave. Located in the central uplands of the island, this breathtakingly beautiful, crystallized limestone cavern is a testament to natures mastery. Flowing streams, deep pools of crystal clear water and towering columns characterize this living cave. Gaze in wonder at the white flow stones and in awe at the beauty of the speleothems which adorn the cave. Be sure to make Harrisons Cave your first stop while in Barbados and Unearth the Adventure!
St. Nicholas Abbey
The plantation was purchased by an architect in 2006 to ensure its preservation for both future generations of Barbadians and visitors to the island. The architectural heritage is part of cultural history of Barbados. Relax and enjoy the Plantation's tranquil surroundings. Complimentary guided tours of the great house showcase a wealth of tradition, including antiques and artifacts spanning the home's 350-year history. Visitors may also explore the boiling house and rum distillery where St. Nicholas Abbey Rum is produced.
