Turneffe Flats has long been recognized as one of Belize's premier saltwater fly fishing, SCUBA diving and marine ecotourism destinations. Located on the Turneffe Atoll, the largest and most diverse coral atoll in the Caribbean, Turneffe Flats specializes in superior service for a limited number of guests. Packages Include: Airport transfers, double occupancy lodging, 3 meals per day plus evening hors d' oeuvres, use of all on-site amenities (pool, internet, kayaks, exercise area). Package Do Not Includes: Belize taxes, liquor, gratuities, park fees, licenses, Equipment rental.
The social center is the Main Lodge. Breathtaking views from the upper and lower decks makes the lodge a favorite spot for visitors. The Main Lodge includes our dining area and bar. Meals are a tasty combination of Belizean and International dishes served family-style.Fresh seafood, local produce and home-baked pastries are standard fare. Depending upon your plans and your preference, you will have the option to take a packed lunch or return to the lodge for lunch. Following hors d'oeuvres and refreshments, dinner is the big meal of the day comprised of soup or salad, entree and homemade dessert.Entrees vary among seafood, chicken, pork and beef.If you have special dietary needs, we will do our best to accommodate them. The bar is located in the Lodge just off of the dining area with plenty of open space to gather around after a day of adventure. DON`T FORGET TO BRING:Swimsuit, Mask, fins, snorkel, Dive skin or light wetsuit if desired, Sunscreen and Insect repellent, Polarized sunglasses, Hat for sun protection Wading shoes(These need to be hard soled shoes designed for flats wading and impermeable to small, sharp pieces of coral.Light tennis shoes/dive booties will NOT work and can be dangerous), Rain coat, Light-weight long-sleeve shirt and pants (both shirt and pants are good or sun protection, insects, and sunburn cover up) Camera, spare batteries, Small binoculars, Any Prescription medications, First-aid medications (including a cortizone cream (Cortaid) for sunburn and insect bites). It is strongly recommend you bring your own mask, fins, and snorkel. The hotel do have a limited number of sizes and quantities for rent $7.50/day. Wading shoes, if needed, are available.
