Enjoy your stay at Amazon Village. The Amazon Village is classified as 'Special Ecological Lodging' by Embratur - The Brazilian Tourism Bureau. The Village consists of a central 'open air' lodge surrounded by 21 bungalows, most of them with two separate rooms. The complex is divided into the following areas: Reception and bar; Recreation Area; Restaurant and Apartments.
Includes: Accommodations, All Meals, Transfers and tours in regular basis, Guided Tours, Pick up and drop off at any hotel in Manaus (meeting point at the lobby) or at the Airport.

Amazon Village has a Reception and bar with comfortable sofas and chairs, perfect for relaxing before and after excursions, or a chat with new friends accompanied by a local drink. There is also a Large terrace where you can sunbathe, read and relax with nature.
The Restaurant is a great atmosphere for experimenting the delicious cuisine, three meals are served daily, as well as snacks in between the different programs. The food consists mainly of local products, prepared by the Chef on location. Meats, fish and vegetables nicely decorated offer something for every taste. Plenty of tasty tropical fruits are always served to everybodys's delight.


Day 1:
In the afternoon, there will be a transfer in two parts from Manaus to Amazon Village. Departure will be around 2:00pm. Part 1will be from Manaus to Ceasa Port by van, microbus or bus. Part 2 will be from Ceasa Port to Amazon Village by regional boat and via the meeting of the waters. Arrival will be in the evening at Amazon Village with a buffet dinner. Following the dinner, there will be an Alligator Spotting Tour. The tour, with duration of about 2 hours, will depart around 8:00pm in a motorized canoe with a guide in search of alligators known as 'caimans'. Once paralyzed by the light of a flashlight, the alligators' eyes go red, enabling the guide to easily locate them. The guide will try to catch one of them with his bare hands and, depending on its size, bring it aboard the canoe for observation. Afterwards, the caiman is safely returned to the waters. After the alligator tour, there will be an overnight stay at Amazon Village.


Day 2:
After breakfast, there will be a Jungle Trek around 9:00am. Lasting in total about 3 hours, guests will walk or take a motorized canoe with a guide until the appropriate area to enter the jungle. The guide will lead the hikers on a trek through the rainforest, educating them about the local flora and fauna. Following the trek there will be a buffet lunch. After lunch, there will be a Reconnaissance Tour. The tour, with duration of about 3 hours, will depart around 3:00pm in a motorized canoe with a guide to visit the river area inlets and flooded forest. Following the tour there will be a buffet dinner and an overnight stay at Amazon Village.


Day 3:
After breakfast, there will be a Fishing Trip and Visit to a Native Dwelling. The trip, lasting around 3 hours, will depart around 9:00am in a motorized canoe with a guide who will try to catch a local fish, such as, tucunare, tambaqui and piranha. Afterwards, travelers will learn about the customs and way of life of the local inhabitants, descendants of the natives. After the visit, there will be a buffet lunch and an afternoon with free time to relax. In the evening, there will be a buffet dinner and an overnight stay at Amazon Village.


Day 4
After breakfast will be the departure for Manaus, scheduled to arrive there around 11:30am.


Transfer details:


All packages include pick-up and drop-off at any hotel in Manaus(meeting point at the lobby) or at the Airport. Transfer time varies according to the chosen package.
Duration of the transfer: 3 hours (30 minutes by car, van or bus - Airport or Hotel/Ceasa port + 2h30min by boat from Ceasa port/Lodge and vice-versa)Meeting of the waters is included in all packages during the transfer to the lodge.


The itinerary may suffer some changes due the water level of the river and weather conditions.


Maximum baggage allowed: 05 kg per person. The main luggage can be stored in their office in Manaus which has appropriate storing facilities.


VISA REQUIRED FOR U.S. CITIZENS VISITING BRAZIL. VISAS MUST BE OBTAINED IN ADVANCED FROM THE BRAZILIAN CONSULATE.
