To begin this 4 hour program, you will be picked up at your hotel in Manaus at 7:30 am and then travel by motorized canoe for a few kilometers to the jungle.

When you arrive in the Amazon rainforest you will be met by an experienced guide who will take you on a jungle hiking educational walk for about 3 hours.

During the tour the guide will teach you about medicinal plants and the Amazonian forest trees. The high altitude of the area means you will see different plant life, larger trees and a dense forest.

Day 1:
Our journey begins when we pick you up in Manaus. We head to Ceasa Port, where we board a speedboat. Our first stop takes us along the Rio Negro river to the meeting of the waters, where the black Rio Negro and the brown Solimões never mix, creating an otherworldly sensation at this spot. Next, we make a stop at the floating village of Catalão. Here, you can explore a fish farm and observe the Giant Arapaima Gigas, one of the Amazon's most powerful creatures.
Afterwards, we continue on to the Careiro village. From there, we ride for about an hour, then head to Maçarico Lake by speedboat. You'll arrive at the Lodge around 11:30 a.m., and a delicious lunch will be served at noon.
At 3:30 pm, we set out on a canoe trip, providing you with the opportunity to see the Amazon Pink River Dolphin and a variety of colorful birds during your trip.

Day 2:
This morning, at 5:30 am, we take a motorized boat to witness the jungle waking up to a new day. We then return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Afterward, we embark on a morning trek. Your guide shares knowledge about medicinal plants along our walk and introduces you to the insects that call this place home. You might even spot some of the local wildlife, including monkeys, which are always entertaining when you can't distinguish their calls from those of humans. Once the trek is completed, it's back to the lodge for lunch.

Our afternoon activity begins at 3 pm. The group departs by motorized boat along the riverbanks to a fishing spot, where we fish for several different species of piranha. During the trip, you may also spot various species of birds and insects. Afterward, we return to the lodge for dinner. After an exciting day of exploration, we head back out on the waters at 8:30 p.m. in search of the elusive Cayman. We use a spotlight to find the caiman, and the guide also provides information about caimans in the Amazon. Then, we return to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3:
Breakfast is served at 08:00 am, and then we venture to the Várzea forest, an area flooded with many small channels and waterways. This trip provides a unique perspective on this natural wonderland as we explore the flora and fauna found here. During the dry season when there's no water from August to March, this trip is conducted on foot. It's an excellent area for observing animals like monkeys or sloths in their natural habitats. When we finish, it's back to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, at 3 p.m., the group embarks on a small regional boat where you will have the opportunity to experience paddling among the channels and the small igarapes. Day 4:
You'll be up at 7 a.m. for breakfast, and then it's off to visit a local family who lives by the river! You will see how they grow their fruits and have fun tasting some of them too. On the way back to the lodge, you will have the opportunity to swim in the river, enjoying it the way the local Amazonian people do.

Lago Juma (Pass by)

At 3 PM, we visit the PÉ DE PINCHA Project: a preservation and reintroduction project for chelonians in some regions, carried out by the local communities. After this, we return to the lodge for dinner.
After dinner, you will depart by boat for a night safari trip to explore the riverbanks, using a spotlight to search for wildlife. Depending on the time of the year, from July to January, it is possible to go spearfishing. Then, we return to the lodge for the night.

Porpoises are sensitive animals and aiming at the safety of visitors and the welfare of the animals, some care is necessary:

Do not feed them;

Do not scream;

Do not intentionally touch them;

Do not use sunscreen, repellent, body cream or oil. When in contact with certain products, porpoises have their eyes and smell attacked.

In the period of ebb there is a phenomenon in the rivers called Piracema (fish migratory movement) which influences, in some cases, the porpoises to follow a shoal that is passing through, and for that reason does not appear as usual in the lakes where visitors are taken for this interaction; that is, there are possibilities of not interacting with these animals, a fact that we can only conclude on the spot on the day of the tour.

Regardless of weather conditions, Tours will take place normally. The above schedules may change due to weather, access, or other factors that the company believes may interfere with the safety or well-being of passengers.

Wear light clothes; bring a towel and swimwear. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent (remember the warning regarding contact with animals)

In the period of the ebb (September to December) according to the level of the rivers, the visit to the water lilies lake is likely to be suspended, being replaced by a walk in the jungle glimpsing species of plants of the Amazon.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Parque Ecologico Janauari

Leaving your hotel at 8.30am to the port of where you will depart in a double deck boat. The boat will navigate downstream the Negro River, until the meeting of the waters.

During this trip the guide will be giving information about the native people along the river, the land and lots more.

On arrival at the meeting of the waters the guide will explain about the amazing natural phenomena of the rivers. There is a possibility to see the river dolphins (grey and pink).

Then the boat continue navigating toward the Januari Ecological Park, where you disembark for a short forest walk of 20 minutes to see the enormous trees (only in the dry season).

Embark in a motorized canoe to make a tour on the narrow creeks inside the Solimoes river where we see the Vitoria Regia the famous water lilies, also looking for birds, animals and see the caboclos houses (which is native people of the region) that exist in this park.

Lunch will be served on a floating restaurant. After lunch you visit the native floating hand craft shop where you have the opportunity to buy souvenirs.

Another reason for its popularity is that, unlike surfing, paddle boarding is very easy to learn. Within one hour you will find yourself paddling around, confident and very comfortable in the water. Stand up paddle boarding is also popular among girls, specially because an average adult womans lower center of gravity can give them a balance advantage.

We start around 8am from your hotel and drive west from Manaus for about one hour to the Castanho lake where our host will take you by motorized canoe (no cover typical slow amazonian transport) heading to the jungle where well start a 2-3 hours hike to learn about Amazonian fauna and flora, like medicinal plants, jungle survival etc.
We can't promise you'll see animals because our jungle is very dense and most of our creatures are small, but we will try to show you as much as Mother Nature allows us.

turn of the last century like São Sebastião Square, visit inside the 19th century Palácio Rio Negro built

to be the private residence of a German rubber baron and later the Governors office until 1997,

transformed after this date in Cultural Center, the Rio Negro Palace shelters today several exhibitions.

The floating Harbor, which was built by the English in 1903 keeping in mind the annual rise and fall

of the Rio Negro, the Customs House, pre-fabricated in Liverpool (England) and shipped to Manaus

most of one hundred years ago, the clock tower (called little Big Ben), Matriz Square and the

Cathedral. Walk through the Municipal Market was built in front of the Rio Negro, in art nouveau style

and inaugurated on 1882.

Its architecture is compared to the extinct Les Hales Market, from Paris. It works until these days as a

business center of regional products, learn about the local fish, fruits and medicinal herbs with many

pharmacies with natural products. The highlights of the tour will be a visit to the lavish Opera House

built almost entirely of European material during the rubber boom and inaugurated in 1896.
