Porto Seguro
The historic city of Porto Seguro is highly significant. This is the very point where Portuguese sailors first landed in the land now known as Brazil. The coastal resort town presents about 90 kilometers of tropical beaches and it's well known for its colonial historic center (Cidade Historica), anda vibrant nightlife scene, which centers on the bar-lined promenade Passarela do Alcool, a street fair filled with craft carts, restaurants and enthusiastic performers. Aside from popular dreamlike beaches such as Taperapua and Parracho, Porto Seguro also offers numerous eco-tours to the mangues through the river and exciting boating journeys out to the Recife de Fora Marine Park for an exploration at sea.

Fortaleza
Fortaleza is one of Brazil`s biggest cities, and an economic magnet for people from Ceara and beyond. The city lies at the mouth of the Pajeu River on a crescent-shaped indentation of the coastline. Fortaleza is also a draw for tourists from Brazil and overseas, who come for its beaches, party atmosphere and the spectacular smaller beach spots, rolling dunes and fishing villages accessible from here. Considering its isolation, the city is a surprisingly large and sprawling place.
