This tour combines the best of both worlds: An overview of the magnificent city of Victoria and a visit to the world-famous Butchart Gardens.

Your tour will take between 3.5-4 Hours and begins with a stunning drive along the scenic route to Butchard gardens, on the way we will show you the Lieutenant Governor's Mansion, Criagdarrow Castle and the best views on the Island on top of Mount Tolmie.

Then we are off to

Butchart Gardens what is one of the world's premier floral show gardens. Jennie Butchart began to shape this magnificent 55-acre landscape in 1904 from her husband Robert's abandoned limestone quarry. The result was the dramatic Sunken Garden, a reflection of the early 20th century beautification movement and an exceptional achievement in Canadian gardening history. As a reflection of their world travels, the Butcharts also created a Japanese Garden, an Italian Garden, and a Rose Garden. Through successive generations of the Butchart family, The Gardens has retained much of its original design and continues the Victorian tradition of seasonally changing the outstanding floral displays.

After the visit to the gardens we are commencing our tour of Victoria, a place where the laid-back modernism of the West Coast blends with time-honored British, European, and Asian traditions.Where you will be exploring Chinatown, Government house, Empress Hotel, Inner Harbour and the Old town Bastion Square we will finish off with a look at Fisherman's Wharf.

You'll have approximately 1.5 hours to spend enjoying the gardens, which are fully lighted for evening viewing.

This Victoria and the Butchart Gardens tour starts with a hotel pickup from your hotel in Downtown Victoria. This tour is offered at three times, including 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6p.m.

Once you arrive at Butchart Gardens, your guide takes you around to explore the festive holiday-light displays. Designated a National Historic Site due to its international acclaim, the gardens offer vibrant displays of verdant plant life and scenic pathways, allowing visitors incredible opportunities to explore graceful fountains, recreated Japanese temples, and renaissance-inspired displays.

This 3-hour tour starts with a pickup from any Victoria-based hotel or lodging. After meeting the driver and tour host, travel through 30 minutes of strikingly lush, natural scenery en route to the gardens. Due to new bike lanes we have limited access to many hotels and traffic issues. We have chosen several different areas to pick up, covering 4 quadrants of downtown.

We will stop by quick to visit one of Victoria most unique houseboat communities. all the houseboats are built in their own unique architect and the wharf is home to some great little eateries such as Barbs Fish and Chips.

Stop at the start of the Trans Canada Highway on Vancouver Island at its most southern point.

7: Government House

We will drive through the beautiful Estate of the Government House in Victoria. The grounds are made up of beautiful lush gardens. We will not be going into the house, we will just stop at the grounds for a quick visit and photos.

8: Legislative Assembly Of British Columbia

We will stop at an appropriate location so you may take photos of the Parliament Building. It is just as beautiful at night as it is during the day as it is lit up with over 3000 lights outlining its beautiful architect.

9: Empress Hotel National Historic Site of Canada

We will stop at an appropriate place to park where you make take some photos of the Historical Empress Hotel and talk about its history.

We will drive by Emily Carr's birth Place and stop for a quick photo and talk about the history quick as we are doing our Luxury City Tour.
