WHAT TO EXPECT

Following pickup from your hotel on Grand Cayman, transfer to the marina where you meet your boat. Of if you'd like, make your own way to the pier. Watch as the island's coastline recedes and sip the provided water or juice during your boat ride out to a series of sandbars in clear, shallow water.

Upon arrival at Stingray City, jump out of the boat into the calm, waist-deep water. The stingrays that congregate here are wild, but are accustomed to being near humans. During your stay, watch them pass by and take plenty of photos during your encounter.

Climb back on your boat and head over to the Barrier Reef or the Coral Garden for some snorkeling. Don the provided snorkel equipment and float peacefully in the calm waters among coral and schools of tropical fish. Your guide is available for beginner snorkel instruction.

Return to the marina on the boat, then transfer back to your Grand Cayman hotel at the end of this tour.

1: Stingray City

After hotel pickup and transport to the marina, your tour begins with a 30-minute boat ride out to Stingray City, a series of sandbars in the shallow waters of Grand Caymans North Sound where wild stingrays gather. During the ride, sit back and enjoy the views while sipping provided water or juice.

When you arrive, hop in the clear turquoise water, which is about waist- to chest-high, to wade near the stingrays. You have approximately 40 minutes to enjoy the experience and take plenty of photos as the stingrays pass nearby.

After visiting Stingray City, you'll head over to either Coral Garden or Barrier Reef for snorkeling. Spend 30 minutes swimming around the warm, crystal-clear water, where you'll see colorful coral and fish, including angel fish and parrot fish.

Your guide will be there to make sure you enjoy a fun and safe experience. When your time is up, head back to the marina by boat, and then youll be returned to your hotel.

2: Starfish Point

Starfish Point a short ride across the "North Sound" from Stingray City. Calmest out of the three, a perfect spot to relax. Straight from the vessel, and on to a beach/sandbar depending on wind.
You can hold see these wild sea creatures as they will slowly walk around us while we talk about them!

With over a million annual visitors, visiting the gentle local southern stingrays is easily the most popular attraction in the Cayman Islands. Located on a sandbar surrounded by waist-deep, crystal-clear blue water, their home is a spot worth visiting in its own right. Guests can enjoy swimming, feeding, and interacting with them. Instructions on how to safely swim and interact with the stingrays will be illustrated prior to entering the water.

Please be advised that cruise ships anchoring in Grand Cayman require guests to take a small boat, known as a tender, to reach shore. It is important to line up early for tenders, as it can take up to 60 minutes to disembark and reach shore.

If your ship tenders to Royal Watler Terminal: Your tour departs from inside the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal.
Upon disembarking, please exit through security and continue walking straight ahead along the waterfront. Please proceed to the last tent with a white canopy and look for the CAYTOURS sign. The local representative will be waiting there to check you in.

If your ship tenders to the North Terminal or South Terminal: Your tour departs from inside the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal, which is an approximate 3 to 5-minute walk from the tender pier. Upon disembarking, please ask port security for directions to the Royal Watler Terminal. Once there, exit through security and continue walking straight ahead along the waterfront. Please proceed to the last tent with a white canopy and look for the CAYTOURS sign. The local representative will be waiting there.

In the event of bad weather, and your ship tenders to Spotts Dock: Your tour will depart directly from Spotts Dock.
Upon disembarking, please remain at Spotts Dock and look for the local representative holding a CAYTOURS sign for easy identification.

Grand Cayman is one of the worlds most remarkable places to experience bioluminescence, a rare natural phenomenon that turns the water into a display of light after dark. Experience two sides of the island in one evening from the shallow waters of Starfish Point to the glowing waters of Bioluminescent Bay.

Begin at Starfish Point, where you can wade through warm Caribbean water and see colorful cushion sea stars in their natural environment, along with unusual marine life such as upside-down jellyfish.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Starfish Point

Begin your evening with pickup from participating accommodations in the Seven Mile Beach area. The boat generally departs Raleigh Quay at 6:30 PM during summer and 5:30 PM during winter, with hotel pickups scheduled earlier.

After leaving Raleigh Quay, stop at Kaibo Dock, the alternative meeting point for guests staying outside the Seven Mile Beach area. From there, continue by boat to Starfish Point.

Step into the warm, shallow Caribbean water and look for colorful cushion sea stars and seashells resting along the sandy bottom. Your guides will introduce you to the marine life found here, including the unusual upside-down jellyfish. Enjoy time in the water and the peaceful surroundings before boarding the boat again.

Then continue toward Caymans Bioluminescent Bay. Once darkness settles in, the lower light conditions allow the bays natural glow to become visible, setting the stage for the highlight of your evening.

2: Bioluminescent Bay

Once darkness settles in, arrive at the Bioluminescent Bay near Cayman Kai, where millions of microscopic organisms create flashes of light as the water moves.

Spend most of your boat tour here while your guides explain what causes the bioluminescence and why this particular bay provides the conditions for the phenomenon to occur. Watch the glow appear around the boat as the water is disturbed, creating a completely different view of Grand Cayman after dark.

You can enjoy the bioluminescence from the boat or choose to swim in the bay, where movement through the water makes the glow visible around you. Swimming is optional.

After your time at Bio Bay, return by boat via Kaibo Dock and Raleigh Quay Private Dock. Guests using the shuttle service will then be transported back to participating accommodations in the Seven Mile Beach area.

Total duration: approximately 3 hours, including transportation. The boat tour itself lasts approximately 2 hours.

WHAT TO EXPECT

After pickup from your Grand Cayman hotel (pickup available from most island hotels) or cruise port, travel to the departure pier for your private cruise.

On arrival, meet your skipper and crewmate and let them know the two destinations you wish to visit from those on offer. Stops available include Stingray City, Coral Gardens, Starfish City, and Rum Point beach. As your cruise is private, you can decide how to share your time between your chosen destinations.

Then, get comfortable on the deck of your beautiful charter boat and after a safety briefing, set sail with your skipper at the helm. Absorb the views as you cut through the waves, and listen as your skipper points out places of interest along Grand Caymans coast. Soak up the sunshine and stay refreshed with the beverages provided on board.

Then, spend the time at your selected destinations as you please: swimming, snorkeling or just sunbathing and relaxing. Snorkeling equipment is available for you to use.

Get up-close with Southern stingrays at Stingray City, where Southern stingrays acclimatized to human interaction frequent the crystal-clear waters. Wade or snorkel in the shallows and enjoy a guided interaction with the rays, with a professional photographer on hand to take photos.

If you wish, visit Coral Gardens to snorkel around the vivid corals teeming with tropical fish, or head for Starfish City to view the bright red starfish laid on the seabed and lounge on the white sands.

Alternatively, you may want to simply while away the time at Rum Point, a gorgeous stretch of soft sands lapped by translucent waters and lined with palm trees and beach bars.

Starfish point is a small relaxing chill beach with starfish sprinkled around its sand in very shallow waters. This tends to be last or first stop of the trip to just relax, roam around, play in the sand, or even just to sunbathe to the that tan! We tend to spend around 30 to 40 minutes here or longer.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The luxury catamaran makes two stops along Seven Mile Beach for passenger pickups; make sure to check in at the beach front dive shop before your departure.

Wade in to the water and climb the few steps to the waiting catamaran, then sail down the coast of Seven Mile Beach. The boat is headed for two snorkel stops, the first at the USS Kittiwake, a submarine that sunk off the coast of Grand Cayman in 2011. Once the boat anchors nearby, get help with your provided snorkel gear and jump in. You can swim right over top the huge submarine, sunk in 60 feet (18 meters) of water, the top of which is just 15 feet (4.5 meters) of water. You'll see an unusual ecosystem of underwater plants and animals taking over the hulking ship.

Stop next at a coral reef, where you'll dive in again for another spin in the clear, shallow water. Get some inside info from your guides on the types of living coral and fish you might see.

Climb back on boat for your ride back, and unwind with a drink from the cash bar on the way back to the beach. Soak up the sun and scenery before getting dropped off back at the beach.
Take a relaxing cruise along the picturesque shores of Seven Mile Beach and enjoy some of the best snorkeling on Grand Cayman on this two-stop ex-USS Kittiwake and Reef Sail.

Visit the famous wreck of the ex-USS Kittiwake, a 251-foot submarine rescue vessel sunk off Cayman's shores in January 2011. Resting in just 60-foot-deep water and reaching to within 15-feet of the surface, this exciting wreck will give you plenty to explore as you swim through this window into the past.

The second stop will be to a shallow coral reef where one can admire an array of marine life in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea.

After the ride to the marina, board your boat and cruise across the Caribbean toward Stingray City, one of Grand Caymans most iconic experiences.

Then comes the moment you came for. Step into the warm, crystal-clear waters of the famous sandbar as majestic southern stingrays glide through the shallows around you. With water typically no more than 5 feet (1.5 meters) deep, experience these graceful creatures up close in their natural environment.

3: Cayman Crystal Caves

Continue from the Caribbean Sea into Grand Caymans hidden world underground. Follow your guide on a 1.5-hour journey through the Cayman Crystal Caves, a network of ancient caverns surrounded by tropical forest.

Explore chambers filled with stalactites, stalagmites and crystal formations sculpted over millions of years. Discover underground pools reflecting the formations above and a different side of Cayman.

Along the way, learn about the caves geology and legends, including stories of Caribbean pirates who used Caymans caves as hideaways and shelters.

After the caves, enjoy 1.5 hours of free time at a Caribbean beach club. Crystal Caves: The Crystal Caves option includes admission and an approximately 1.5-hour guided cave tour, followed by approximately 1.5 hours of free time at a Caribbean beach club.

Spend approximately 40 minutes enjoying the warm water, getting an up-close look at the starfish, and capturing some incredible photos surrounded by Caymans tropical scenery. Then climb back aboard as your adventure continues toward the reef for snorkeling.

3: Grand Cayman

Dive into Grand Caymans crystal-clear Caribbean waters, where vibrant marine life, colorful tropical fish, and beautiful coral formations await. Depending on the days conditions, your captain will select Coral Gardens or the Barrier Reef, choosing the best location available for your snorkeling adventure.

Spend approximately 40 minutes exploring Caymans underwater world before climbing back aboard for a scenic boat ride to the dock. From there, return transportation is provided to your original meeting point or hotel pickup location.

The boat experience lasts approximately 3 hours, dock to dock, with approximately 3.5 hours total including transportation.

The boat is located in the newly renovated Cayman Islands Yacht Club where you'll depart from, once you arrive your captain will give you a safety briefing and you'll be on your way out to the north sound where you'll do all your water activities. At each stop you'll be briefed before entering the water to ensure everyone is comfortable and aware of their surroundings.

Your boat will be a 44ft SeaRay Sundancer which can seat up 12 guests comfortably and it comes with a jetski. Your boat will be equipped with snorkeling equipment and life vest for everyone, the boat also has a custom heavy duty ladder which makes in and out the water very easy, there is also two restrooms on board as well as a cooler with ice, water, sodas and local beer. You are also welcome to bring along your own drinks or food.

OVERVIEW

Our first stop will be at the Governor's Residence for optional pictures. Followed by another picture stop at the Old Home Stead. Then a change of scenery to our famous Hell for a glimpse of our rouged lime stones. Immediately after we will proceed to our Tortuga Rum Company for tasting of Cake, Rum and purchasing of souvenir.

After this we will take off for a short ride over to 7 mile public Beach, for pictures. Followed by the moment of anticipation a scenic ride off to the eastern district for our Crystal Cave experience which promises to be full of excitement.

This is the Island's newest nature tourist attraction. You will venture off by way of escort to a tour of the Cave with a guide for a phenomenal experience lasting for approximately 1. 5 hours. An adventure of a lifetime awaits you!
