Stingray City is one of the top attractions within the Cayman Islands. With some of the largest southern stingrays in the Caribbean, Stingray City is a must when visiting the Cayman Islands. On this two stop tour, you will have the opportunity to swim among some of the largest stingrays and most colorful reefs surrounding the Cayman Islands. In Stingray City the crystal clear water does not exceed five feet; the highlight of the excursion is the picture taking moment. With the assistance of boat crew, visitors will have the chance to pose near stingrays for the perfect picture, a moment not to be missed. We will take 30 minutes to arrive to the first point of interest.

During the final stop of snorkeling, guests can relax in shallow water of Barrier Reef or the Coral Gardens and view various species of colorful fish with friends and family for a great photo opportunity.

Continuing the tour to one of the latest and most recent tourist destinations in the Cayman Islands, we reach the Cayman Crystal Caves. These caves were recently discovered in the 1990s and the family that owned this land have now actively converted this to a tourist attraction after restoring and working on these caves for about 2 decades. You will venture into amazing caves where youll see stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures and otherworldly formations, formed by single drops of water and the slow passage of time. Amongst the forest and caves are captivating tropical plant and animal life, including strangler balsam trees, air plants, parrots, and bats. All visitors receive guided walking tours. Tours are approximately 1 ½ hours and take you through the surrounding tropical forest area and 3 caves spectacular.

2: Pedro St. James National Historic Site

The first stop on this tour is the famous Pedro St James Castle which is the oldest standing building in Grand Cayman. Built in 1801, at a time in the Cayman Islands when most people lived in tiny, thatch-covered houses, a wealthy Englishman, using slave labor from Jamaica, created an astonishing 3-storey building called Pedro St. James. Here you can explore the main building, the castle gardens and gazebo and also experience a multi-sensory 3D presentation at the Pedro Theatre.

The tour departs from the dispatch booth at the Royal Terminal. Please, be advised that guests on ships anchoring in Grand Cayman must take a small boat called a tender to shore. It is very important that you are in line early for the tenders to shore if you want to make it to the tour before it departs. It can take approximately 60 minutes to wait for tenders and get ashore. Once a guest arrives at the Port Terminal and exits through security, they should continue walking straight, and they will see a tent with a white Canopy, hanging above a sign with the word CAYTOURS There is where our Dispatch team will be.

WHAT TO EXPECT

After pickup from your Grand Cayman hotel (pickup available from most island hotels) or cruise port, travel to the departure pier for your private cruise.

On arrival, meet your skipper and crewmate and let them know the two destinations you wish to visit from those on offer. Stops available include Stingray City, Coral Gardens, Starfish City, and Rum Point beach. As your cruise is private, you can decide how to share your time between your chosen destinations.

Then, get comfortable on the deck of your beautiful charter boat and after a safety briefing, set sail with your skipper at the helm. Absorb the views as you cut through the waves, and listen as your skipper points out places of interest along Grand Caymans coast. Soak up the sunshine and stay refreshed with the beverages provided on board.

Then, spend the time at your selected destinations as you please: swimming, snorkeling or just sunbathing and relaxing. Snorkeling equipment is available for you to use.

Get up-close with Southern stingrays at Stingray City, where Southern stingrays acclimatized to human interaction frequent the crystal-clear waters. Wade or snorkel in the shallows and enjoy a guided interaction with the rays, with a professional photographer on hand to take photos.

If you wish, visit Coral Gardens to snorkel around the vivid corals teeming with tropical fish, or head for Starfish City to view the bright red starfish laid on the seabed and lounge on the white sands.

Alternatively, you may want to simply while away the time at Rum Point, a gorgeous stretch of soft sands lapped by translucent waters and lined with palm trees and beach bars.
When its time, return to your boat and end your trip with a drop-off at the original starting point or if you wish, Seven Mile Beach.

1: Starfish Point

Starfish point is a small relaxing chill beach with starfish sprinkled around its sand in very shallow waters. This tends to be last or first stop of the trip to just relax, roam around, play in the sand, or even just to sunbathe to the that tan! We tend to spend around 30 to 40 minutes here or longer.

2: Stingray City

Stingray city Sand bar, Grand Cayman's #1 attraction. You all may hold, kiss, feed, pet, and even get friendly back rub if you wish from the rays. WHAT TO EXPECT

The luxury catamaran makes two stops along Seven Mile Beach for passenger pickups; make sure to check in at the beach front dive shop before your departure.

Wade in to the water and climb the few steps to the waiting catamaran, then sail down the coast of Seven Mile Beach. The boat is headed for two snorkel stops, the first at the USS Kittiwake, a submarine that sunk off the coast of Grand Cayman in 2011. Once the boat anchors nearby, get help with your provided snorkel gear and jump in. You can swim right over top the huge submarine, sunk in 60 feet (18 meters) of water, the top of which is just 15 feet (4.5 meters) of water. You'll see an unusual ecosystem of underwater plants and animals taking over the hulking ship.

Stop next at a coral reef, where you'll dive in again for another spin in the clear, shallow water. Get some inside info from your guides on the types of living coral and fish you might see.

Climb back on boat for your ride back, and unwind with a drink from the cash bar on the way back to the beach. Soak up the sun and scenery before getting dropped off back at the beach.
Take a relaxing cruise along the picturesque shores of Seven Mile Beach and enjoy some of the best snorkeling on Grand Cayman on this two-stop ex-USS Kittiwake and Reef Sail.

Visit the famous wreck of the ex-USS Kittiwake, a 251-foot submarine rescue vessel sunk off Cayman's shores in January 2011. Resting in just 60-foot-deep water and reaching to within 15-feet of the surface, this exciting wreck will give you plenty to explore as you swim through this window into the past.

The second stop will be to a shallow coral reef where one can admire an array of marine life in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea.

The boat is located in the newly renovated Cayman Islands Yacht Club where you'll depart from, once you arrive your captain will give you a safety briefing and you'll be on your way out to the north sound where you'll do all your water activities.
