Chile
Chile is well-known for its beautiful landscapes, ranging from the Andes Mountains and the Atacama Desert to Tierra del Fuego (all of which are exciting, off-the-beaten-path vacation destinations). In the more remote parts of Chile, you can enjoy whitewater rafting, hiking, glacier treks, and even sandboarding, in addition to viewing many diverse species of animals in their native habitats. Cities, such as Santiago and Valparaíso, have electric atmospheres of their own and shouldn't be ignored, from tantalizing food markets to buzzing nightlife to art museums to beautiful Spanish colonial-era architecture. Be sure to enjoy a scrumptious glass of Chilean wine while you're here; you can enjoy many vintages in Chilean wine country and restaurants across the country.
Argentina
Argentina is the third most populous country in South America filled with spectacular natural wonders and vibrant culture, offering the traveler an opportunity to experience extraordinary outdoor adventures, fascinating wildlife, outstanding cuisine, magnificent vineyards, and one of the most dynamic and sophisticated cities anywhere in the world. From the distinct and beautiful landscapes of Patagonia to the rich and artsy culture of Buenos Aires, Argentina is famous for many things. Wine, soccer (futbol), Gauchos, and Tango are all things Argentinean. The country has a rich cultural history with lifestyles uniquely their own.
