Isla Mujeres
Isla Mujeres is found a few miles off the Caribbean coast, accessible via a short ferry ride from Cancun. The island is long and skinny, four miles in length, but only 0.4 miles in width. It is a laid back former fishing village, full of colorful buildings, surrounded by crystal clear waters, and a place where the primary method of transportation is a golf cart.
Relax on the pristine beaches, explore Punta Sur, rent a golf cart and explore, stroll around Centro and admire the sea wall murals, day trip to Isla Contoy, visit MUSA (Underwater Museum of Art in Isla Mujeres), go fishing, swim with whale sharks, visit La Tortuga Granja (Turtle Farm), go snorkeling or scuba diving, experience the Zocalo, and so much more!
