You will receive an orientation on the proper operating techniques of your ATV as well as free to walk along our typical Baja California ranch having the chance to take some pictures with horses, goats, and friendly donkeys.

Hop on and follow your guide for a glimpse into Bajas rugged terrain where you will see cactus over 20 feet high towering over the trail, wild animals, exotic desert flora and incredible views over the Pacific Ocean.

From January through April keep an eye out towards the ocean as the migrating whales come so close to shore that you can see them jumping.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Following hotel pickup in San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas, you are transferred to the tour facility to meet your guide. Receive a safety briefing, then suit up with any necessary gear including helmet, goggles, bandana, and bottled water.

Take a seat on your side-by-side all-terrain vehicle and head off-road to explore the trails of Baja California Sur. Follow the guide over desert trails and sand dunes to incredible white-sand beaches with ocean views. You'll stop for photo ops and water breaks along the way.

After a thrilling ride, head back to the starting point and board a vehicle back to your hotel. (Souvenir photos and DVD are available to purchase.)

1: Cactus Tours

Your tour begins with hotel pickup in San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas. You'll then head to the ATV facilities and have a chance to visit the herpentarium. Then, your guide will give you all equipment including helmets, goggles, bandanas and water.

Receive a safety briefing and explanation of the activities and then head on your adventure. Be prepared for the highlight of your vacation: this off road adventure is focused in making you to have the fun of your life. He even explained many of the native plants with some cool show and tell. PS: Baja allows you to bring your camera !! by alpO5598AE

OVERVIEW

Prepare an authentic Mexican meal from start to finish during this half-day cooking class in Cabo San Lucas. Choose from menus that change each day of the week, shop for fresh ingredients at a local market, then cook alongside a local chef as you learn the techniques and recipes of Mexican cuisine. This cooking class includes a hearty lunch, and its limited to 14 people for personalized attention from the chef.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Make your way to a central location in Cabo San Lucas, where you meet a guide for a visit to the local spice market and tortillería, and pick up some fresh corn dough for making tortillas by hand.

Continue to the chefs home, then prepare a full lunch with a main dish, salsas, sides, and tortillas that youll eat hot from the grill. Learn about the culture and context of what youre cooking, and get tips for reproducing the recipe in your home kitchen. When the meal is prepared, sit down to enjoy what you've cooked.

Monday: Poblano-style mole sauce
Tuesday: Tamales with chicken, pork, or beef)
Wednesday: Beef birria in adobo sauce
Thursday: Baja-style seafood and paella
Friday: Pork two ways: carnitas and pastor
Saturday: Tacos with an assortment of Mexican stews

Chef Issi and his family will meet you at his restaurant in downtown Cabo San Lucas and from there he will take you on tour to several different local spice and groceries markets within Cabo San Lucas downtown neighborhoods where you will pick up the ingredients needed for the recipes of the day. Chef Issi will share with you about the food culture and also about the local way of life and history.
After picking up the ingredients you will arrive to house of the Chef and after getting your aprons on you will start crafting from scratch the different salsas and recipes that will make your Mexican feast.
Learn how to make a Margarita (Cookin' Cabo style) and enjoy it together with the fruit of your labor.
All this in a Mexican Family atmosphere.
