Posada Amazonas is located within a communal reserve of more than 9500 hectares, belonging to a Native Community on the Tambopata River, in Madre de Dios - Peru. To begin your tour of the Amazon rainforest, take a quick plane trip from Lima to the city of Puerto Maldonado in southeastern Peru. After welcoming you at the airport, we will take you to our office 5 minutes away to freshen up and prepare for the trip to the hostel. After a 1 hour road trip, we will take a leisurely boat ride along the Tambopata River to immerse ourselves in the heart of the forests protected by the Ese Eja de Infierno Native Community. Note: You will have a list of activities to choose upon your arrival to the lodge. RECOMMENDATIONS: Arrival to Puerto Maldonado before 1 PM to prevent losing lunch and first activities on the Program. Departure after 11 AM. **The passengers have to be vaccinated against the Yellow Fever**
