Your tour begins with pickup from your Cusco hotel in time for a 6.30am departure. Admire the views on the around 1-hour journey to Calca, then hop out to explore the tranquil mountain town. Continue another couple of hours to the highest point of the Lares Pass, at 14,665-foot (4,470-meter) - the starting point for your bike tour.

After meeting your private guide and being paired with a suitable bike, set out on your mountain biking trek through the Andes. Cycle along a thrilling route through the highlands, following remote trails and grassy tracks. Along the way, enjoy incredible views over the rugged mountains and canyons; spot alpacas, vicuñas, and llamas grazing on the hillsides; and learn more about local life as you pass through traditional Andean villages.

After re-fueling with a hearty lunch (included), stop to admire some little-visited chulpas (pre-Inca ruins), and see the Machacancha hot springs.

Finally, return to Calca, where your driver will be waiting for you. Back in Cusco, your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel around 7.30pm.

1: Lares Trek

This exciting tour begins when we pick travelers up at around 6.00am. Then we'll travel for 1 hr by bus until reaching the quiet town of Calca. After a break, the journey continues to the highest point, the Abra of Lares (4470 mt) and around 10.30am we'll start the departure with our mountain bikes accompanied by a guide.

These isolated highlands, covered only with straw (andean grass), and the snow capped mountains give you such a special feeling. The scenery turns into a canyon, along the way, travelers will see alpacas, vicuñas y llamas, small villages, farms and livestock. We'll also visit some chulpas (pre-inca ruins), which are an evidence of the importance of this place. In this area we'll enjoy a typical lunch.
After a short break we will continue our biking tour until arriving at the hot water springs called Machacancha. Later we'll continue for 1hr back to the village of Calca, where our private transportation will take us back to Cusco, arriving around 7:30pm.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Templo de la Luna

At 9:00am we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer to an especial in the South Valley of Cusco, approximately half an hour from Cusco. Upon arrival we will quickly settle to do the coca leaf reading which lasts between 45 minutes or an hour depending on the number of questions that you have. The next ceremony will be the Andean cleansing and flourishing ceremony, which is important to remove negative energies and blocks. The last ceremony, a traditional Andean offering to Mother Earth which allows you to give thanks to the Mother Earth, the Apus for all that has been received. You are also able to ask for your well-being and for that of your loved ones creating a sense of harmony and union with nature and God.
We are going to return to Cusco at 1 pm approximately.

Ticatica arco (Pass by)

We start with pick-ups from the main square or hotels near the square. Next we headed to our base of operation located in Tica Tica, the Sencca sector, we headed for a course of 15 minutes.

We start the tour between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. with pick up from hotels in downtown Cusco. We travel for 1 hour and 30 minutes to Cusipata, where we enjoy an Andean breakfast. Then we continue to Kayrahuire Alto (4,450 m a.s.l.), where we receive a brief instruction and practice before starting the ATV tour. The route lasts between 50 minutes and 1 hour (round trip), with views of the snow-capped Ausangate and Andean landscapes. We walk a few minutes to the viewpoint of the Mountain of Colors, where we will have free time to explore and take pictures. Receive a pickup from your hotel or residence in Cusco before heading to the trip starting point in Cruzpata. After suiting up with an included helmet and climbing aboard your ATV ride, get a short instruction lesson on how to safely drive your vehicle. Then zoom off for a trip through the Peruvian landscape as you head to Moray and Maras.

Make a stop at Moray, an Inca archaeological site once used by the civilization to breed and test different varieties of crops. 1: Salt Mine of Maras

You will get to know the tradition and culture in a very adventurous way. We will pick you up from your hotel to drive to Cruzpata, from where we will continue by quad bike to the first stop in Moray, an archaeological site where the Incas use it to acclimatize the seeds. The gigantic circular depressions in the ground surface, with their respective irrigation canals were believed to be an agriculture investigation centre of the Incas. The average temperature difference between the top and bottom of the depressions reaches up to 15°C in the principal depression of approximately 30 meters deep. Then we drive to the salt mines located 7 km from Moray, pass through a typical Spanish village called Maras.

Afterwards we will go back to Cruzpata to return the quad bikes and where our transport to Cusco awaits us.

You will be picked up from the hotel between 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. and then take a 2-hour trip to Cusipata where they will have a delicious breakfast,

WHAT TO EXPECT

1: Maras Moray Tours

We begin the Tour with pick-up from the hotel and then head in our transportation for approximately 50 minutes to the town of Cruzpata where we will have a 15-minute practice with the ATV and then we will obtain the corresponding safety instructions.
We begin the tour with the ATVs to the experimental terraces of Moray, round trip with a drive of approximately 2 hours. until returning to Cruzpata.
We will continue on the tourist transportation to the salt mines from Cruzpata for safety and to avoid accidents. On this tour we will be able to appreciate the snow-capped Verónica and the snow-capped Chicón accompanied by a magical landscape in contact with nature and some residents of the area.
Finishing the tour we head towards the city of Cusco.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Commence your adventure with a hotel pickup in Cusco, exclusively available for the morning session unless you opt for a private tour. For the afternoon session, meet at the Willka Travel office.

Enjoy a round-trip shared transfer from Cusco to Cruz Pata Base Camp, to start your ATV adventure through the picturesque landscapes of the Sacred Valley. Choose from a single or double ATV, and upgrade to include a zipline or private tour.

Reach the entrance of the Moray archaeological site, where the quad bikes are parked for a guided tour. Then, continue the adventure to the Maras Salt Mines, exploring with a guide before returning to the base camp. Entrance fees are extra and payable in cash on location.

Your journey concludes with the drive back to Cusco where you are dropped off at a central location in the city center.

Well ride the quadbikes for about 45 minutes through the Sacred Valley until we reach the area near the entrance of the Moray archaeological site. After 45 minutes downhill hike we are going to reach the heart of Apu Antakillka (sacred mountain and protector of the inhabitants) finally we arrive to Poc Poc waterfalls, this place is considered very sacred by the local people, it is a sacred place where Pachamama or mother nature offer us the opportunity to recharge our energies and choose new directions for our lives.

We are going to have special moments where we will be more connected with Pachamama through our Sacred offering with our coca leaves.

Once we have finished exploring the waterfalls, we will continue hiking for another 2 hours until Urquillos village.
