Full Day tour to Uros Titino and Llachon from Puno
- Type:Day Trips and Excursions
- Duration:1 Days
OVERVIEWMost Lake Titicaca tours follow the same route to the main Uros islands. This one doesn't. You'll visit Uros Titino a quieter, less-visited group of floating islands near the Capachica Peninsula where just a few families still fish, harvest totora reeds, and maintain their way of life without the crowds that pack the traditional Uros sector.
From there, you'll continue by private boat to Llachón, a rural Quechua community on the peninsula. Local families welcome you in traditional clothing, share their knowledge of native plants, and demonstrate ancient textile techniques they still use to make their own garments. Lunch is prepared with local ingredients fresh trout, quinoa, potatoes, and soup. After eating, you're free to walk along Llachón's sandy beaches, try kayaking (extra cost) along the shoreline, or even swim in the lake. This is a private tour with a bilingual guide, your own boat, and no fixed groupINCLUDESTransfers Hotel - Port - Hotel.Private boat Puno - Uros - Llachon - Puno.Guide Spanish / English.Based on Andean productsEXCLUDESPersonal expensesMEETING AND PICKUPPickup pointsThe supplier will pick up customers from select hotelsOptions and Start timeAdd Kayaking in Llachon:07:30 AM, 08:00 AMFull Day tour to Uros Titino and Llachon from Puno:07:30 AM, 08:00 AMPickup detailsWe can pick up travelers from hotels close Plaza Mayor de Puno or 500m around it.WHAT TO EXPECT1: Uros Floating IslandsUnlike the main Uros islands that receive large groups daily, Uros Titino is a quieter cluster of floating islands near the Capachica Peninsula where just a handful of families still fish, hunt birds, and gather eggs from the lake much as their ancestors did. Full Day Tour Uros and Taquile Islands (Speed Boat)
- Type:Day Trips and Excursions
- Duration:9 Hours
OVERVIEWWhy do we recommend the Uros and Taquile tour by speedboat?
The main reason is that we shorten the navigation time on the lake, having more time to enjoy the visits in Uros and Taquile, in addition to having calmer walks and being more comfortable because the boat is also more spacious and comfortable.
The places that are visited are the same as those of the Tour of Uros and Taquile normal boat:
2 islands in the Uros (of the more than 90 islands that make up these floating islands)
Taquile Island, where we will visit its main square to have lunch and appreciate its customs, beautiful views of the lake and its textiles.
As we mentioned before, the difference is basically the navigation time that each boat makes, as we show below.INCLUDESLunch in TaquileBilingual guideSpeed boatEntrance feeTransport Hotel - Port - HotelEXCLUDESTipsTypical Uros boat trip (Optional), S/15.00 Suns per person approximately.MEETING AND PICKUPPickup pointsThe supplier will pick up customers from select hotelsOptions and Start timeFull Day Tour Uros and Taquile Islands (Speed Boat):07:00 AMPickup detailsWe pick up all passengers from hotels in the city centerWHAT TO EXPECT1: Uros Floating IslandsWe will meet the famous floating islands of the Uros, and their inhabitants with their customs, crafts and all their culture.2 hours -Admission Ticket Included2: Taquile IslandWe will discover the beautiful views of the island of Taquile, considered among the 11 most beautiful islands in the world, full of living culture and possessing one of the finest textiles in the world.2 hours -Admission Ticket IncludedADDITIONAL INFOWheelchair accessibleInfants and small children can ride in a pram or strollerPublic transportation options are available nearbySpecialized infant seats are availableTransportation options are wheelchair accessibleSuitable for all physical fitness levelsNot wheelchair accessibleThis tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelersThis tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers in totalCANCELLATION POLICYFor a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.(For information purpose only - definite start times will show on voucher, once confirmed)
