Trip Summary

  • Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is Argentina's cultural epicenter, known for its music and dance, its cuisine, fine wines, and vibrant night life. Although it has retained much of its Colonial European influence the design and architecture in Bueno Aires reflects influences not only from Spain, but in many cases Paris, Rome and other Euro capitals as well. Visit La Boca Neighborhood, Casa Rosada, Plaza de Mayo, Colon Theatre, The Obelisco, Woman's Bridge, De la Republica Park, Recoleta Cementery, Tigre River Delta, Japanese Gardens.

  • Colonia

Colonia is a town steeped in history. Built primarily by the Portuguese, the style of houses, and cobblestoned streets, are reminiscent of old Lisbon. The winding streets and colorful houses are a delight to explore. The historic quarter, Barrío Historico, sits on a small peninsula jutting out into the river, was named a UNESCO heritage site in 1995. Visit the Historic Quarter, Plaza de los Toros, Santa Ana Beach, Bodega Familia Irurtia, and so much more!

  • Montevideo

Situated on the east bank of the Rio de la Plata, Montevideo is the hub of commerce and tourism in the small, but dynamic country of Uruguay. The streets are lined with European style coffee houses, and the city is famous for its outdoor markets and mouth watering barbeque. Explore the Independencia Park, Pocitos Beach, Old Town, Salvo Palace, Rodo Park, Gateway of the Citadel, Port Market, and much more!
