Trip Summary

  • Montevideo
    Montevideo

Situated on the east bank of the Rio de la Plata, Montevideo is the hub of commerce and tourism in the small, but dynamic country of Uruguay. The streets are lined with European style coffee houses, and the city is famous for its outdoor markets and mouth watering barbeque.

Explore Independencia Park, Pocitos Beach, Old Town, Salvo Palace, Rodo Park, Gateway of the Citadel, Port Market, and much more!

  • Colonia
    Colonia

Colonia is a town steeped in history. Built primarily by the Portuguese, the style of houses, and cobblestoned streets, are reminiscent of old Lisbon. The winding streets and colorful houses are a delight to explore. The historic quarter, Barrío Historico, sits on a small peninsula jutting out into the river, and was named a UNESCO heritage site in 1995.

Visit the Historic Quarter, Plaza de los Toros, Santa Ana Beach, Bodega Familia Irurtia, and so much more!

  • Punta del Este
    Punta del Este

Punta del Este is one of South America's fanciest beach destinations. The two coastlines of the Uruguayan peninsula provide a calm placid side as well as a windy side with well known surf spots. The endless beaches, beautiful seaside mansions, tree-lined streets, chic boutiques, and stylish people make this Uruguay's most popular destination during the summer months.

Visit Casapueblo, Conrad Resort and Casino, Ralli Museum, Punta del Este's Port, The Hand Sculpture and Brava Beach, The Ocean Museum, Manantiales and Bikini Beach, José Ignacio, and so much more!
