WHAT TO EXPECTWe'll pick you up from your hotel in the morning. It's a 45 minute drive North on the world famous Elliott Highway to Borealis Basecamp. We are located in the heart of the Boreal Forest, with panoramic views of the valley.
Included in your trip is a 1-hour dogsledding tour & a 30-minute long reindeer meet and greet tour.
We work with local passionate mushers who view their dogs as their family, and you will have the chance to understand this incredible sport on your ride through the snowy forest.
On this 30 minute long tour you have the chance to meet our Alaskan born reindeer. They live at Basecamp all year, eating a diet of reindeer feed and natural treats. Your tour guide will show you how reindeer live in the Arctic year round and give you the opportunity to feed and take photos with them!
Lunch is held at Latitude 65, our on-site restaurant. The menu consists of hot and cold sandwiches, noodle dishes, and a rotating menu of features and fresh soups.
